Jesus would not deny us a pint

      Thursday April 01 2010
I get very puzzled by the number of people who seem incapable of distinguishing between Jesus Christ and the enormous, rather unpleasant bureaucracy that has usurped everything he stood for -- in order to make a very good living out of his wisdom and beliefs.

Apart from the rampant child abuse and dishonesty, which would have had himself overturning tables and emptying temples in rightful anger if he were alive today, I really cannot imagine that Jesus would be against anybody having a drink this Friday.

Why on earth would he? Ignore the ghastly, self-serving, pompous bureaucracies. Have a good time and raise a glass to a great bloke.

From everything I have read about him, I am quite sure that he would approve of people being happy -- while doing no harm, of course.

No pubs open tomorrow. Except for the exception with the rugby. Even some of the big nightclub s have been refused permission to trade after midnight. Hypocricy

The pubs are open in the North of Ireland tomorrow, only thing is they can't stay open passed midnight tomorrow night.  The offy opens at 10 in the morning as well. Wasn't planning on going but think I might just now...because I can!  8)

      I didn't know that either.

Jesus would want you to be on the ale. Good Friday can't be that good, no meat or ale! I suffered with no meat Friday, but I had ale to get me through it.
