What have you learnt in life?

So this is a topic of what you've learnt in life and you don't know you can help each other out.

This is a feel good topic that i've wanted to start and just see what people have learnt being how ever old you are.

Myself, I have learnt that people you think you know can still suprise you and do things you don't know.
I have learnt to never trust certain people in life as they turn around and bite you in the ass.

I have learnt to save money over each week and cut back on the things in life that seem pointless.

Maintain a healthy lifestyle and prosper, take each things in quantities and never all for one.

 

I have learnt never to judge someone from first impressions, something I used to do when I was younger, now I take time to get to know someone and value their friendship, as 9 times out of 10, they are really nice people.

I also value time spent with my family, especially my mum and sister.  After going through the deaths of close friends, relatives and my partner, I cherish my time with them very much.

And its very true, you only get out of life what you are prepared to put into it.

I have had friends come and go in my life but its the time you spend with them that makes you feel great and happy. When a friend of mine passed away at 17 years of age, when i went to his funeral I was very sad. I hadn't seen him in few years as we went to different schools. In life remember the greatest things and not that saddest things personally.

First impressions is what this country and the general population do by the way people dress or talk its shambolic but its the way people are these days and its them being ignorant.

Time spent with family is the greatest feeling ever, when you next do it sit back and just think for a second how great this is and in a few years how you will be adding to the family with your on and the smiles of all your family through the highs and lows of life is what makes it a such a great feeling.

I have learnt .. never fall into temptation. Never get tempted to do things that you might regret later in life.

I also learnt that when something you want doesn't go your way or doesn't end up like how you wanted it to, don't feel bad, sad or disappointed because things could be worse.

Also always be appreciative of what you have around you.

You would never want to live a life of regret to say the least but we all regret things in life. Its what makes us strong people through our own actions. Its hindsight.

Things can always be worse so don't think you got it bad to say the least!

Family are the greatest asset to you in life

One of the most important things i've ever learnt in life is that you can't recreate the past. There's too many things that change.

You just need to understand that there will be better things in the future and look forward to them.

Don't forget the great things in your past. Take some time to think about them, remember them. But don't waste your time wishing that the past will repeat itself. You'll miss out on too much stuff.

True, but at the same time, I think deep thinking is a great thing.  It makes you a better person.

The people who we regard as bad people probably half the time don't stop to think about what they're doing.
