Haha, that's great timing. I was talking to a friend of mine earlier today how much I hate 'Satisfaction'.

Haha! Yeah, i can't say im a fan of the top 10 at all. Good songs and all, but i would have thought that some others were way better choices. Guess that's personal opinion and all, but i really am surprised that 'Like a Rolling Stone' is number one.

Though, being 'Rolling Stone' magazines list, maybe not such a surprise :D

Some fantastic songs in that list, some I've never even heard of, and some of my very favourites as well.

More Than A Feeling at 500? That should be further up the list. Think Good Vibrations is the only one I really like out the top ten, too.

I think that Stairway To Heaven should be in the top ten at least.

Yeah just some of the greatest songs by some of the finest songwriters or bands of the 20th Century.

Would of had Rolling Stone's Sympathy For The Devil above Satisfaction and there's no way Smells Like Teen Spirit would get in the top ten!!

      I meant the order.

John Lennon - Imagine is the most overrated song of all time in my opinion.

Yeah!!! Forgot to say I hate this one too.

Obviously the list is full of great bands and great songs but these lists are always pointless and made for people like me complain about them ;D

This list is obviously not just or even that much about the quality of the songs but more about the impact they had on popular culture,  from that perspective songs like Imagine, What's Going On, even Smells Like Teen Spirit, make alot of sense in this list. These kind of lists are silly though, nobody is going to agree with it.

How about the 500 greatest albums of all time?

Waterloo Sunset in the top 50. Tune that.

And The Boxer - Simon & Garfunkel. If you haven't listened to that song I suggest you do so immediately. Amazing song.

There's some belter songs. Large presence of The Beatles too, massive presence.
