For out and out value for money it has to be Sotis.
He was very solid again tonight and got a goal too (sort of).

      Best:
      Reina, Alonso, Mascherano, Torres, Kuyt.

Worst (no value based judgment, this is only a list of the worst players he has signed and played for the 1st team I remember):
      Voronin, Dossena, Itandje, Paletta, Josemi.

So Keane was no where on Rafas wish list of players that is bullshit what seems to have been accepted was Barry was first and Keane was second. Parry decided to sign Keane still a Rafa signing. Aquilani by the time he leaves will have cost the club a lot more than £8 million. Johnson is a good player if you can't see that is your problem but to have him in Rafas 5 worst signing is hillarious to be honest.

I never said he's sh*te, i said he has problems defending and isn't worth 17m.

I know, i'm a comedian. And your ignorant.

      WTF ;D?

Pacheco? Hes played about 30mins football for the first team. How can he be labelled as one of rafas greatest signings? Maybe one day he might be, but right now hes far from it, hes still unproven.

Lucas? Even the biggest lucas admirers won't agree with you. Hes 50-50 with the fans, half like him, half dislike him, hes definately marmite and is nowhere near one of the best signings rafa has made for LFC.

Johnson has been here a season.

Riera is a tit but he was half decent on his day, players such as voronin were much worse than him.

Kuyt, doesnt score enough? Hes got 9 in 34 this season. Not bad for a right mid ey? Ashley young has 5 in 33. Valencia has 5 in 33 too. Walcott has 3 in 20. lennon has 3 in 18. wright phillips has 3 in 27. joe cole has 2 in 23.

yeah repro, johnson falls into that category but pacheco certainly doesn't.

thats like re-winding the clock back 7 years ago and saying le tallec or cheyrou were the best signings houllier ever made.

Yeah but in all fairness, the lad probably couldn't think of anyone else to put in. It's not like we're jampacked with great signings! Also Pachecho should be a starter already imo and in a few years he will be 3rd:4th on that list!

      Maybe.

To be honest though due to his lack of opportunities etc, wouldnt be suprised if a club like atletico or valencia came in for him and he went on his way in a year or so.

Haha and despite your name mate and whatever you think of rafa, hes brought in some quality to the club. You cant deny reina, johnson, agger, skrtel, benayoun, kuyt, mascherano, torres, alonso, garcia, weren't good signings for us.

Insua has gone from a no mark into a argentina international over night, hes been off the pace this season but the potential is still there, could be worth 20m or so in a few years time.

Even babel, keane and morientes who didn't/haven't really worked out for us, i remember alot of liverpudlians being extremely excited when Rafa signed those players.

Good but overpriced, 18 million for a player who only possessess one good attribute is a bit steep in my eyes! I could name 5 or 6 players in the same mould who we could have got for cheaper! Also, I would definitely not put Johnson in the good signings list!! He has cost us on numerous occasions this season, namely in the Champions league and that horrorshow vs Arsenal! Also, a rightbqck wasn't a neccessity, a F***ing winger was! 18m on a decent rightbqck was too much to chuck away imo!

decent argument and i've said similar things on here myself

in a year or 2 though i think johnsons price will be forgotten about because imo he has the making of being the best right back the club have seen in 20-25 years. we'll just have to wait and see.

i do agree with you though, other positions were a main priority too IMO and he blew most of our kitty on a right back. We did need to repalce arbeloa though.

Masch possesses only one attribute is it, that is funny because Barc wanted to pay £35 million plus for him last season. Would this not show how much his value has risen and when you compare him to Anderson, Hargreaves, Carrick who all costed roughly the same. Masch wasn't a good signing he was a F***ing excellant signing.
