My only gripe withe game is Lucas should have shone in that game and before people jump on my back read the context of my post.
I say this as West Ham were there for the taking, they offered very little as a threat and Gerrard was enjoying himself out there, so for me Lucas had the freedom of the central midfield to express and really impose himself on the game and to be honest thats all I want to see the lad do and it's so frustrating watching a game he could have got hold of by the scruff of the neck and take the chance to silence his hardest critics (yes me included) pass him by.
I think he was wasteful in possession in the first half and improved in the second with his passing and tackling, but still against what I seen on the pitch at Anfield tonight, I'd have loved to see him really make his mark and run the show from central midfield.
