Dog owner pulls gun on motorist in Farrington Gurney
A dog owner has threatened a motorist with a gun in Somerset.
The driver had to stop on Paulton Road, Farrington Gurney, because a Jack Russell terrier had run into the road.
When the driver spoke to the dog owner, he produced what police described as a black handgun and threatened the motorist, who then drove away.
It happened at 1630 BST on Monday. Police have described the dog owner as white, between 40 and 50 years old, 6ft tall and slim.
He had short dark messy hair and was wearing a cream-brown coat and sunglasses.
He was carrying an unknown small round luminous orange object.
