Metzelder (free) - out of favour at Real, very experienced but might want too high wages.  Could also provide cover for Mascherano as an anchor man.  Untested there, but what do you guys think?

Seeing this season as to how often Torres is injured I believe another striker who can hit 15-20 goals a season and is not in the "very high " is first priorty seeing as to that this season we are royally screwed without Nando . Another this which I would like to see next season the more apparences of youngsters like Nemeth and Pacheco , who should have future at LFC . Defintley now owners who aren't afriad to splash the cash on  quality plyers .

New owners.

New players. Not loads of new players. A few with real quality would do.

Thats what we need yes, but will G&H's be gone by then?
Will we get the money needed if they are not gone and will we still attract big players?

Knowing them two tw*ts, it's probably already spent.

Knowing Hicks and Gillett, they will probably wait until the transfer window closes before leaving the club!!

I'm still very optimistic that everything will be in place in time for the summer window opening. 

New owners.
Management secured.
Transfer budget in place.
Players in and out identified.
New stadium funding ready to go.

My reasons being that if it's not sorted then we will be in an even worse position this time next year. 

Is Metzelder out of contract this summer ?

He is and has stated he will be leaving Real.  With Real looking like doing a clean out another potential name to add to the list is Rafael Van Der Vaart and at a £7m price-tag, that looks very appealing.  I think Benzema would be a waste of money.

I think a lot of what may happen will depend on the following :-

whether we get champs league football or not (remember, still not guarennted europa lge footy yet)
whether rafa will go or not.
how long t**t and t**t stay.

Worst case - we finish 7th, rafa goes and the muppets remain in control, it could be a horrible summer
best case - we sneak 4th, barclays find a billionaire who wants to give us all his cash with no debt, happy days

Yip, its massive. Let's hope the Owners are loaded and start the new Stadia. And at least let Rafa buy without Selling.

A new left back is number 1 priority for me. Insua has been out of his depth this season far too many times. A great little player on his day but hes lost his consistency this season.

Second priority goes to central midfield. Liverpool have looked far too plain all season, theres been no drive or creativity from the middle all season, at times its been f**king dire. Weve got our own little hard man in mascherano so now we need o sign somebody who can play football to sit next to him. Is aquilani this man? IMO no, hes played about 3 games this season. Next season it'll be similar I imagine.

Third goes to a striker. We are, lets face it, well and truly fu**ed without torres. We need a 15-20 goal a season striker as backup which is going to be difficult to find, a good striker who is prepared to sit on the bench for 2/3's of a season.

Fourth then goes to a winger. Maxi and kuyt together for the season will sort that right flank out. Use kuyt away from home were we need to be more defensive and use maxi at home were we need to me more creative. Sorted.  Problem is our left flank. Id like to see somebody with bags of pace there who will run at defenders. Babel is never a left midfielder and even though I rate yossi, theres certain games where he just cant crack it.

Fifth, if theres any change, go for another central defender. I no you all love the big greek but personally I find him as a liability. Hes too slow and gets caught on the ball far too often IMO. Carra only has a season or 2 left in him too so lets get some cover for agger and skrtel.

i do not agree with a central midfielder. we already have mascha and lucas as defensive. stevie and aquilani as attacking, benni's still around for the creative spark. why do we need anyone else?

central defender? we have carra, agger, the greek and skrtl. we really need another cb? i'd say not.

We need a quality left winger (Turan?), centre back (Kjaer?), left back (few knocking about, reckon about £7-8million would do it if we scout properly) and a striker. Think we need to spend £10million+ on each barre the left back position. Where that will come from is anybodies guess.

We do have to find a striker who can cover for Torres, or be the 2nd striker if we go 4-4-2. would be happy to blow our entire budget on that one player if we had to.

For me new owners is the priority,then at least we can start to build the overdue stadium.My main hope for the summer,is that we finally get justice for the 96.

Well, you've heard it from the man himself.

We need 4 or 5 new signings to turn around our fortunes.

Now F***ing give us the money to do so.

Mourinho? the best ever signing. I think we've got enough quality in the squad so with Jovanovic and an LB things will be sorted out.

Ownership - not 100% that it'll happen this summer but if we can move the club into someone elses hands it is obviously a massive step in the right direction.

Also, we need to have the manager situation settled as soon as possible, not in late July or something.

We definitely need to get the root of all our problems away - the owners. Hope Liverpool FC will be in the right hands soon.

Also need to get rid of average or players not good enough for Liverpool and bring in quality ones and I mean, quality.
