The Black Shirt

Hey all.

Couldn't think of anywhere else to post this (answers on a postcard) but much as I love the black away shirt I was wondering how well have we done on the occasions when we have worn it? It feels as though we haven't done very well

Its not the black shirt on its own mate, its the shocking kit decisions when we wear it (gold shorts?)

 A good player will still be a good player irrespective of what colour shirt he wears,and a bad player will still be a bad player.What is that saying a bad workmen always blames his tools.

Remember when ManUre got stuffed by Southampton (I think) and Slur Alex blamed the gray kit, saying the players couldn't see each other against the crowd? 

Not necessarily blaming the kit, just interested in the stats, and remember Shanks changed our kit to all red

It was foggy they said they couldnt see eachother because of the kits they changed kits a half time to the white and blue one and still lost 5-2 and it was only 3-1 at half time i think

Its sh*t get back to white the proper away colour or silver wernt too bad

I really like this kit, just pure unfortunate coincidence that we aint been too good in it. Aint been that great in any shirt for large parts of the season anyways.

Jerseys have been pretty tidy this year. Pity the same couldnt always be said about the lads wearing them. Only version I never want to see was the one with the gold shorts. Would rather we wore our red ones then ever see that hideous mix again. Flashes of gold and red on shadow was quality. Loved the Liverbird detailing on both aways

I loved the grey last year, we also owned playing with it.

The black top was a good one off the field, it went great with a pair of jeans. That's why I bought my lad one.

Especially with the denim cut-offs. Gotta have those.

Love the black kit but it must make it harder for the players to see each other. I liked the all yellow kit that we wore so proudly in the early 80's or the white shirt with red shorts from the 70's.
