Who Do You Think Will Win The World Cup?

I know they are a strong team and I'm completely backing them to knock Portugal out and advance through the groupstage themselves. But I don't think they have enough about them to reach the semis. Teams like Argentina, Holland, France won't have a tough time beating Ivory Coast. Drogba is just one man.

well, drogba is not the only quality player in their team. just take a look at their roster - they have a very strong team, in fact, i can see them knocking either portugal or brazil out before the second round.

Considering how sh*t Portugal looked in their first friendly, Ivory Coast has to be feeling better about their group.

I agree with you about Brazil. However, Busquets and Xabi Alonso can do similar jobs, even Javi Martinez despite his lack of international experience and he's a bit more offensive.

I see Brazil winning this. They have a strong midfield and Spain, with all their attacking talent, have no real rock in midfield you need in a World Cup other than Busquets. And he can't even tackle.

However, I will support Spain obviously.

Robbed a forty foot flagpole out of work. I am putting my Spain flag up. Now that Gerrard has been made captain I will relent and support my country of birth. Even though it belongs to the rest of the world. Good innit? Spain to beat the Argies in the final 20/1 Hills. England to lose semi to Argies but beat the krauts in the quarters. Denmark to lose to Spain in the other.

As an England supporter, I have to be realistic. But I am hoping for a Semi Final or Final finish, but I don't think that we will win it. Not with all the controversy over who should play in goal, who should partner John Terry at Center Back, how to get the best display from Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard and also who should partner Rooney up top. I personally think that David James should play in goal, not sure about center back since Rio Ferdinand is injured, Lampard should play as a holding midfielder, gerrard should play as an attacking midfielder and peter crouch should partner Wayne Rooney up top to put some height in the box since Jermaine Defoe is injured. I would say Spain, Brazil, Potugal and Argentina will make it to the Semi Finals and it will play out from there.

I hope for a Spain-Agrentina/Brazil final and then for Spain to win the final , they've just got too much quality in their squad . I also reckon Germany can go very far (even finalists) .
