To an extent, yes. Initially anyway.

We need to get the message to as many supporters clubs as we can. Hopefully it will lower the numbers for the time being.

Not had any lager yet, probably why i was able to lash a decent idea out of the 'ol noodle

Initially there will be some supporter blindness in people who don't know and just go. But the plan would be protests outside the gates every home game, right? So that would be a great way of educating the ones who aren't fully aware. Also, sing loud outside and still show support to the men on the field, but doesn't put money into the cancers pockets.

`Selected home game boycotts w/protests and official club store ban` as a start so that if needed it could be esculated to `Full home game boycotts w/protests and official club store ban`

by doing it this way its giving us something to up the anti to

Full boycotts only work if the season tickets haven't been sold already! These C**TS don't care about protests as long as their pockets are lined. Would look good on TV to highlight our cause though, but not fair on players. Having said that though, I wonder how many players would privately back us!!

Last one.. however, for every fan that doesn't want a ticket there'll be another who does want it.

So I'm not sure how effective it would be, unless we could protest outside Anfield before the matches stopping people from entering, but I'm pretty sure that's illegal and the tickets will still be sold anyway.

I do hope we could do it, but not too sure it would work in the force we want it to.

I accidentally clicked the second last one, but i meant the last one. Every game we don't attend is millions they will have to go without - cost of tickets, drinks/food/merchandise bought.

I clicked the wrong one  :f_doh:

Meant to go for the last one, as everyones saying, we need these cowboys out fast and in my opinion boycotting all the games is the only way itl work, even if it does affect the boys out playing! It has gone to far now, and if it does affect the players, that will only be in the short term, whereas if we boycott all the games and get rid of the yanks then things will be looking up for the long term future of our club!

On the basis of the voting so far on here, it will be interesting to see if the SOS are as determined as we are.

I've sweated blood for my season ticket. If I give it up, someone on the waiting list (and possibly not from the city) will snap it up.
I want to continue supporting the team.
I vote for protests inside the ground and boycotting of merchandise.

i'll agree with that point, stay behind after games, giving up the season ticket would be rather silly!

but F**k it, why not stay behind after the games, make people aware we are staying and more should

      I can see that Hagbard.

Just a thought tho'....I guess you could also hold on to the season ticket but do without attending games until H & G F**k off. An "empty" Anfield will have a big impact on raising awareness and increased media coverage.

I voted for "Selected home game boycotts w/protests and official club store ban".

If the stadium is empty wont this send us quicker into more debt meaning the likelyhood of players being sold quicker than we expect them to now.

I agree with this too mate.  I don't expect anyone to give up a season ticket but doesn't mean holders have to attend matches.  The point of this is to show "visibly", with an empty/half empty stadium, that the fans are staging a boycott.

Providing there are thousands of fans OUTSIDE the stadium this will have a massive impact media wise and if those fans are handing out leaflets as to the objectives of the boycott it will have a snowball effect.

Protests inside the ground have been tried before and its had no effect except for a bit of mocking by Sky.

We need to stop pussyfooting around and force the Yanks out and take the hardline. Only attempted to miss the odd game here and there wont do much. We need to stop match day money going in now and indefinately until the Yanks F**k off.

Been tried before and dismal turn out.  Hasn't worked.  Wouldn't bother again with it to be honest.

It's hard enough work getting the majority of fans to stay for the last 5 minutes of a game these days. Never mind an hour or so after.

I can appreciate the 'predicament' season ticket holders may find themselves in.  And I can see why the Spirit of Shankly will not make a hardcore stand because of this.  But I haven't got a season ticket, I get my tickets on a game by game basis so my conscience can sit a lot easier with a ban.

Mind you - you season ticket holders haven't heard the price yet for next season? I'll bet the club are waiting to see what the SOS decide next week first. ;)
