Which Players Will STAY In The Summer?

Reina will as just signed a new deal

and Skrtel has said he wants to stay and impress the new coach whoever that may be

who else do you see coming out and commiting their future/saying they will stay

i think Stevie and Nando will stay for one more season.

At the moment I honestly don't see anyone going. All this bollocks about a mass exodus to join Rafa at Inter is a joke. Didn't they say the same when Mourinho left Chelsea.

And he should be our captain as well.  He's the most dedicated to the cause out of all of them.

Think most will stay apart from Javier who will follow Rafa

Wait and see what manager comes in, he may have his own ideas that will see a few shipped out and a few come in, it's hard to nail down any one at the moment.

Can see Mascherano and maybe some of our young foreign players joining Rafa/Inter. ( Ayala, Pacheco )
Also reckon Stevie will be very interested in rejoining his ex in Real.

I think the certs are Reina, Maxi, Agger and Skrtel. I can see all of them staying definitely.

The only ones i'd like to see go TBH are, Reira, El Zhar, Degen, I think Masch is certain to follow Rafa with possibly Kuyt, I reckon we could raise about 50m for that little lot, And if we chuck in Babel too that could extend it to 60m, The Kunts tho will want at least 75% of any funds raised, The likes of Gerrard, Torres et al will remain and work with the new gaffer, I believe this will be Carra's last season with us, The rest will hopefully honour their contracts unless told otherwise, As for new faces well thats pie in the sky and will all depend on who comes in and where from.

Id be fairly confident in Pepe staying

It's not good news but I can tell you that SG will be leaving and decided to go last summer because of a lack of investment in the squad. A former player told me that and was absolutely certain it will happen.

Torres has already said that unless there is investment in the squad he will leave... he will.

Mascherano has virtually said over the last few days that he wants to follow Rafa to Inter... or he could go to Barca where they have already said they want him. He's already said he will leave and his family don't like it here. Take it as read he only stayed because of Rafa.

Benny is going to Chelsea and has spoken about it in the press.

Birmingham are interested in Babel.

That leaves a core of good players consisting of Reina, Agger, Skirtel, Aquilani (who I think will be great), Kuyt, Lucas (better than he gets credit for), Johnson, Maxi etc.

Not bad but not top four and no genuine goalscorers.

Forget the Champions League we'll be fighting to get a Europa League place.

We need to get the yanks out and a boycott moving.

I would love Yossi still to be there as well.

I wouldn't lose sleep if any of the rest went as long as we replaced them.

The situation has chnaged completely now with a new manager coming in.Those who were sure goners earlier like Yossi and Riera might stay on now if the new manager finds for them  a place in his plans so nothing can be said now.

Don't know who else, but out of all players I believe this man is one of the most important. His attitude on and off the pitch is quality.

Depends on who the new manager will be. List all the players in the squad who would be sought by Utd, Chelsea, The Arse, Man shitty, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, A.C. Juve, Inter,.......That's Stevie, Nando, Carra, Pepe, Masch, Johnson, Agger, Benni, and possibly Skrtle, Kiri, and Maxi.  The rest will stay because they wouldn't get a game above Div 1.

Depends largely on who the new manager is. I don't think anyone will leave:

a)To Pay off debt - i.e. Nando or Gerrard
b) Because last season was so poor

The current squad should still be able to push for 4th place next season and I think the majority of our "Stars" will at least give us another season to see what happens.

The only important player I can see potentially leaving is Masch, he's never defended or praised Rafa until the news of Rafa taking the Inter job cropped up. All of a sudden he can't speak highly enough of him, and we all know how Masch's family can't settle here - me thinks hes after a move to Milan.

Then there'll be the likes of Riera, Degen, El Zhar and other fringe players that will potentially move on.

I honestly think that stevie and nando will stay, i think stevie actually wanted Rafa out, he didnt have the drive to motivate the team and his subs decisions spoilt the end of season run in.

Gerrad and Torres to stay, Riera, Babel (maybe) Kuyt and Javier to follow benitez which i wont cry about
