UPDATE ABOUT THE ALTERNATIVE SHIRT, FROM 'JOHNNY J' ON RAWK THIS MORNING

Lads, Lasses and any lurking Mancs, apologies for the delay due to difficult personal circumstances, but here's the update you've been waiting for.

The shirt is almost ready to launch
I don't yet have a mock up visual, but have been assured that we will be keeping very close to the Kitster design
As soon as I can get hold of a visual, it'll be posted here
The manufacturer will be dropshipping to the UK in late July with the first 1,000-1,500 shirts (sorry its not sooner, but these guys produce to a very high standard and supply official kits to  club & International sides).
Sizing charts will be consistent & available for all to view on a specific webpage to be posted here, there and everywhere as soon as its ready to go
The producer of the shirt and hoster of the webpage will be UK based to avoid all of the risk around quality/sizing/seizure of shirts by customs etc and all related duty etc.
The VAT responsibility will be theirs, so no concerns there
All that said, we're prob going to charged out at £20 a shirt PLUS delivery (again, I'm sorry that I can't get this down any further, but by reducing the risk & doing everything possible to promote the quality & protect the design by moving to UK, we have picked up some cost that we wouldn't in Far East - but it makes us more legit)
The design WILL include the original pair of snakes & Standards Corrupted logo
Our liverpool badge & stars may have to be printed (but not like a transfer) properly sublimated to keep the costs down
I'm going to stick in the deposit for the first 1,000 shirts at the end of this week to get this up & running as quickly as possible, and encourage the guys to get their webpage up and running with the mockup etc by early next week (latest) to start taking YOUR orders as soon as possible.
I'll be committing to the shirts based on the 1,083 "orders" confirmed in these pages / pm's and based upon the sales by size indications you've all provided.
I think this feels like the right option.
Any issues or observations please just shout. I might not be able to get back to you immediately with the issues I currently have, but I will be checking in throughout the day as time permits.

This has been a great effort by all concerned and after all the legal challenge stuff we're in the final stages, so thanks for sticking with it.
We're nearly there, so let's not get distracted by the commercially motivated efforts of the manc shirt.
The previous 34 pages highlight the evolution of this design & concept & that's what sets US & OUR shirt apart. We haven't been force-fed it, WE'VE designed & developed it.
Like so many other examples, it characterises what sets US apart - we've done all the hard work ourselves, not just waited for it to happen.
Like I say, any issues or thoughts just shout.

I wish them well with the kit.  Not entirely sure of the merits of it's purpose and alas I won't be purchasing one.

Liverpool's colour is red.  If the intention is a black shirt to symbolise the 'dark days' at Anfield then it won't go down anywhere near as well on the TV cameras as Man United's, admittedly, excellent green and gold campaign.

A scarf is an easily accessible item picked up for a couple of quid.  Not sure how many people are going to pay £20 for a black shirt when the owners 'could' be gone shortly.

Anyway, good luck with it all.

But for anyone to buy this shirt, and then pay £40 for a match ticket - is in my view - laughable, and I'm sure the irony will not be wasted on the owners either.

I will if I can get hold of one, but won't be attending the games. I hope the quality is as good as they are claiming.

What colour Scarves, if we go back to the origional Kit then it would be Blue and White!, if Red, it would just merge into the OOT's.

I wish the owners could soon be on their way too, but personally I can't see it. If we can not get a manager, new owners are going to be harder to find than Hen's Teeth.

That would show the owners they've just lost £1.5M.
