      You must be excited, Diego.

Hope this turns out to be a good match. Most of the potential good matches in the last week have been disappointing.

:action-smiley-035: Superb goal. Luis Fabiano is a world class finisher, nice to see him finally score cause he was going through a moment of bad form. Same goes for Kaká, getting involved in the goal will certainly help his confidence.

      Lucio and Juan are fantastic.

Keita is a f***in c**t, dirty tackles during all game and then pretends to be hit in the face. Disgraceful piece of sh*t.

Apart from this nervous final minutes and the goal conceaded (which was pure lack of attention for a moment, and you can't do that against a striker like Drogba), a brilliant 2nd half performance. We were decent in the 1st, efficient going forward which is how Brazil have been under Dunga. In the 2nd we not only scored 2 goals, but also showed moments of great football. I thought Lucio and Juan were fantastic today, and even the defensive midfield pair, usually the weakest part of the team, played well - Felipe made some good tackles and Gilberto Silva was doing a few quality long passes.

Kaká may not be at his best, but still made 2 assists and a good performance, despite being so silly in the end. He did nothing wrong but could of have avoided that. I always criticized Dunga for keeping Elano in the team at all costs, even when he wasnt playing well, but he's proving his worth in the WC, 2 very well taken goals so far. Shame about his injury, I hope it's nothing serious.

Luis Fabiano's 2nd goal was one of the most beautiful goals I ever saw in a World Cup, it's a huge shame he used his arm there  :-\

F**k me the second goal was even a worse decision then the sending off, how the F**k did the ref miss that, he handled twice the second one was so obvious it was embarrasing the ref missed and what the F**k was the ref saying to Fabiano on the way back to the half way line.

You know the funny thing about that sending off?

Ivory Coast needs a Brazilian win to qualify (if Portugal wins tomorrow). And Brazil needs Kaká.

Luis Fabiano's 2nd goal was one of the most beautiful goals I ever saw in a World Cup, it's a huge shame he used his arm there  :-\

Lovely goal that. Reminds me of Kaka's goal against Man United in the Champions League back in 2006/2007. I think even his 1st was really good.

Not sure what happened with the sending off but if you ask me, there was no reason Kaka needed to do that because they were already leading 3-1 even though it looked like he did push his elbow with force.

I don't think Kaka actually did anything.

To me, it looked like he slightly held his arm out to lessen the impact of the oncoming player (Keita). If he just stood there, arms by his side, he'd have been knocked straight to the ground.

Hmm, I think you're right. After watching it, it look as though Kaka was preventing Keita from bumping into him by having his arm out as a shield.

      My bad

Plus, I may not know Kaka personally but he isn't that type of player that does that.

No, I don't think so either. Seems a very decent guy actually. See him at the start before the game? He was the only one talking and smiling with the kid he was walking out with.

Naught Kaka clearly elbowed him in the chest but Keita did go down clutching his face like a little bi*ch, I hate players that do that, ahem Lucio.

At least Brazil are through and Kaka missing a game will not affect them going through.

I thought Brazil's second goal was a terrible decision.

Although, Kaka did receive a yellow for that second offence.  Forget the ridiculous face holding (if the ref thought he had hit him in the face it would have been a straight red) - it is possible that the linesman saw the push in the chest and that's why he got the second yellow.

      Just playing devils advocate.

The injustice about the sending off of kaka is that keita runs into him deliberately and away from the play. This is a deliberate act of aggression and nothing to do with the play, the ball is up the other end.  kaka does the natural thing and puts up an arm to protect himself. The play acting that follows is a laughable piece of theatrics and keita deserves a card for simulation, and for charging a player off the ball.

The justice about the sending off is that during the first half, kaka dives around the pitch in a series of cynical attempts to get players booked, when there is no contact. What happens at the end of the match is perhaps the referees way of saying, "hey look I've had enough of you, off you go"

You could argue he brought it on himself
