That was a stunning goal from Mexico.

Typical, that the Mancs have already snapped that lad up.

      Scouts everywhere.

I can tell you now there will be a lot more scouts over in South America after this world cup.

Really enjoyed this game. If Mexico could get another in a minute, it would make a great finish.

They went close then we had Heinze playing on his camera man injury.

Interesting this, when we were 3-1 down, we were all over the place, but Mexico still have form and cohesion, and a chance.

      Exactly.

The whole movement from both sides only goes to show how sh*t England were.

Liverpool need to get a South American manager (Pellegrini) and I'd have a decent mix of Mexican, Chilean, Paraguayan and Uruguayan players.

They all look different class to the laboured English bunch.

I feel sorry for Mexico cause they were the better team in the first minutes of the game, till Argentina scored their 3rd illegal goal in the competition with Tevez offside. Then a terrible mistake by the Mexican number 5 (who had a nightmare tonight, couldnt do anything right), and the game was almost finished.

Tevez 2nd goal was pure class though. What a shot that was! And even 3-0 down, Mexico still were capable of showing some good stuff and Chicarito took his chance very well - superb finish.

Great game but I think Mexico could've got much more from it, the first goal completely broke their momentum and then one individual mistake costed them the game.

Once again the Argentine back 4 looked poor, I can't wait to see the damage Ozil, Muller, Podolski and Klose can cause them! ;D

Argentina have a lot of quality players in attack but I think people over-react about their performances. Against Nigeria, the Africans had quite a few chances but couldnt finish properly. South Korea almost drew the game before Argentine scored their 3rd goal (offside btw). Then Greece, sh*t match but it didnt really matter anyway.

Bloody Argies , a free pass to the next round courtesy of another dodgy goal . Be interesting to see how Argentina's back four cope with "Ze Germans" . I hope the Germans tear em a new one ;)

That is going to be an exciting game. I await but I think Messi will be the talking point.

Didn't he also say that Maxi spent the last half of the season on loan to Liverpool?

Rodriguez looked fairly decent again last night.

Definitely the best signing of last season. And a bargain to boot.
