If Spain beats Germany, it would be the first WC final ever without Brazil, Germany, Italy or Argentina.

Paraguay got a pen which was saved. A minute later, Villa raced away and was brought down for a pen to Spain. The Paraguayan defender should've walked but was only booked. Alonso converted the pen but was made to retake it. His pen was then saved. Fabregas ran onto the rebound for the pen and was clearly brought down by the Paraguay keeper. This time no pen was given. Ramos' shot was blocked on the line from the rebound.

Unbelievable that two penalties were saved and we should have seen a third for the foul on Fabregas after Alonso's retaken penalty. Bet he was gutted after putting away the first. Great game. Spain will need to keep their shape and the ball more against the Germans or they will suffer.

Hope German lose on Wednesday, I am sick of these old established powers.
Only German left so let's see if Spain can produce a better performance next Wednesday.

Great job to hold onto it by Casillas.

Pepe would have done the same, though. :D

Casillas thank to Pepe afterwards, He told Iker about Cardozo taking penos.

This game was a real slow burner, second half was pretty good though! however I still think Spain need to step it up a gear as Villa's goal was a bit scrappy, and Torrres looks like he is going backwards too  ??? I really hope he finds his form before he comes back though.

I'm gonna love it if Spain make the final, and Torres grabs a brace.

Would seriously shut those pricks up at the BBC.

Just watching the second half now and surprise surprise another match compromised by disgraceful refereeing.

Paraguay goal incorrectly ruled out for offside

When Paraguay miss a penalty 3 Spanish players are 3 yards into the box........no retake

When Spain score a penalty the ref amazingly picks up a spanish player 2 feet into the box.........retake

Spain penalty incorrectly given after Villa dives
Spain penalty incorrectly not given after keeper brings down Fabregas

the circus continues .........another team goes out thanks to disgraceful refereeing    Spain no doubt the luckiest team left in the competition.

The goal was off side, the player went for the ball and took a Spanish player with him so whether he gets a touch or not he is interfering with play, that was the correct decision.

Villa did not dive he was pulled down and the Paraguay player should have been sent off. The retake of the penalty was ridiculous it happens week in week out.

Really don't know how you think Spain got through because bad referring, Fabergas should have got a penalty, Paraguay should have been down to 10 men, the goal was rightly given as offside and the penalty retake decision with Alonso was F***ing ridiculous.

It also happened about 30 seconds earlier with Paraguay's penalty and it didn't have to be retaken.

Paraguay's goal was correctly ruled out for offside because Cardozo was interfering with play before Alves? got the ball.
The ref wasn't the best but you are exegerating things too much.
