I have a bunch, but to me my most valuable ones are 2 of these Holland 1988 kits:

My father bought 2 of them for me back then, just so I'd have them when I'd be older :) Love 'm, both still in mint condition too.

Quality shirt that, remember buying my brother a retro Dutch 74 shirt, cos he loved Cruyff!

Used to love that Dutch team of 88 - van Basten pure F***ing quality striker.

Also remember the keeper being really good too - can't remember his name, well I can but it's trying to remember to spell it right!

I had tons of country tops when I was younger.

I had Argentina and Spain. I have a shirt that says Germany 2006 and have a Netherlands kit with my name on it when I visited Nike Town back in 2003.

Would really love to have a Spain top now with Alonso's name.

Also had a South Africa shirt at one point.

I'm considering getting Argentina/Spain's kit this year. Always liked Japan's kits though for some reason - think they are quality!

I'd go with an Italy kit due to ancestry but I'm not too keen on the latest.

      Hans van Breukelen!  :)

I actually was planning to buy an Uruguay kit with Luis Suarez on it for the World Cup this summer, because I refuse to buy one from Ajax. Unfortunately, it's reaaally ugly so I'll have to pass:

Now I might go for the Japanese kit, with Keisuke Honda on it, but I'm not sure yet:

Shockingly I admit to having owned an England shirt.  If it's any consolation it was sent to me for free a few years ago.

The only other national shirt I ever owned was a Peru home shirt.  I think it was made by Lotto or something like that at the time.

      Class it was.

And I'd go for the Peru away shirt anyday of the week!

Haha sorry to ask about something posted so long ago but how in the world did that happen?? I'm very curious.

Btw I can proudly say im getting my first foreign team shirt-  Liverpool's!! in a couple of weeks!! I worked all summer to get the money (it costs like 100 bucks here so not really cheap at all) but I'm sure I won't regret it. A nice home one. Only thing I'm thinking about is Carlsberg's logo.. when is it gonna disappear? Next year :O? Or not? Carlsberg logo is the only one I've seen in a Liverpool shirt so far so I think I'd feel weird with any other thing written on it, but if it's gonna change anytime soon maybe I'll just wait till then.

      Sorry to go off-topic btw.

I used to love this shirt when I was a kid. Although I didn't have Riedles name on the back.

I swapped a Liverpool shirt for a Juve shirt with a girl I know from Turin. She was staying all summer in Scotland with a friend of mine, sadly i never became a good friend of her... my god i wish i had.

And I've money set aside for a Spain shirt come June :)

Two of my mates have that shirt too - on the cheap in Sports Direct.

@Dexter - I've been considering the Japan shirt myself. Think it's quality. Liked the Japan shirts for years. I'm thinking either the England home shirt, Japan home shirt, Spain home shirt with Torres on the back, Argentina home shirt with Messi on the back. Decisions. I would get the Italian shirt but I'm not too keen on it.

I used to be well into footy shirts when I was about 12 or 13. I had loads. I even had a Forest shirt with 3 Pearce on the back!! I had the old blue spurs kit (with lines at the top that had spurs written in them). I had the Inter goalie top. I had the Rangers 100 year centenary shirt. The bright yellow with black stripes Blackburn kit (I even had the shorts!). I'm sure there were others. Oh yeah. I had the turqoise Germany away kit. Had an old blag Real shirt with Butrageono (I can't spell it) on the back.

Don't know what possessed me, a Liverpool season ticket holder at the time, to wear Forest and Spurs kits. I blame Souness.

I had a Spurs kit once.

It was when the kit manufacturer was Kappa and they were sponsored by Thomson. Light blue it was.

Besides the three Liverpool jerseys, I have an old Ireland jersey (Opel were the sponsor) from around '94.

EDIT: I think I'll dig it out and wear it today. :D

My LFC allegiance comes from my dad. He took me to my first game when I was two (I don't remember the game but I'm guessing at that time we probably won). My mum on the other hand didn't have a clue about football. In junior school I came home and told my mum I needed a football top for games. Until I grew out of it 2 years later I played in a Dagenham Motors West Ham top. Oh the shame.
