Don’t know about anyone else but at last a saviour has appeared on the horizon as for the next three days I will not be wondering if we have signed a one legged Peruvian under 21 international because…Glastonbury is here!
My second great passion is music and I look forward immensely to festival season each year but especially Glasto as although it’s the one festival I have never been to there is something about the diversity I love, I mean where else would you see the Artic monkeys and Shirley Bassey on the same bill?
I can’t wait to see The Artic’s, Killers, Arcade Fire, The Enemy, Get cape wear cape fly and many many more. Has anyone done Glastonbury before or are you like me and just camp in the living room? or if you are a Reds fan from further a field what is the biggest festival in your country?

If you’re a music fan do you plan on pressing that red button going interactive and filling your boots, oh! whilst posting on here of course ;)

Cheers Glenbuck, I think I will but it only comes around every January I think...so we'll see what happens. As for you mate enjoy the three days, have a ball mate...and don't worry about what's happening behind closed doors at Anfield.... I'm sure it'll be nothing :(

      Afternoon Glenbuck mate!
I myself am chuffed to bits that Glasto is here!!! It's gonna be interactive all the way for me! What a release from checking the bloody sports news all the time!
There's definately something special about Glastonbury and it shows in some of the performances the bands and artists have belted out over the years. Two that stand out for me was Kasabian and Coldplay 05. I wasn't there but thanks to the good old red button I got to see most of their sets live and it was dynamite!! To see any live music on telly these days is quite rare when you think back to getting the likes of Pink Floyd live in Venice in the eighties on Ch4, so I'm loving it!!!!!!!
One of me mates and his girl got tickets and they were hiring a camper van, the lucky sods!

Like you guy's I'm glad Glastonbury is here. Something to take my mind off transfer gossip. Agree Kenny Kasabian and Coldplay were awesome that year. Looking forward to Monkeys, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Kasabian and lots of others this year. By the way just got tickets for Tennants Vital in Belfast with Killers and Kasabian headlining. This is the closest thing we have in Belfast to a music festival. First time going and I can't wait.

How good were the Arctic Monkeys last night?! I'm not really a big fan of them to be honest but they were brilliant live. Kasabian were ace as well but will probably never live up to their last performance at Glastonbury. Only seen a bit of Arcade Fire but they were good as well. Not really heard much of them. Missed Bloc Party though. Tell you who were alright and a bit mad, Hot Chip on the John Peel stage. Good times! Looking forward to tonight!!!

Strikes me as a bit of over commercialism too these days.  Big sponsors.  National mainstream TV coverage.

Some great acts on don't get me wrong but you're probably better doing Reading and some of the others.

I am a huge music enthusiast and have been red buttoning the whole thing! Got me V Festival ticket, as a replacement for Glastonbury as I registered and then missed out!  :-\ Still looks like being just as good though!  >:D

I love the Arctic Monkeys and I'm off to see them at Old Trafford next month, but they were brilliant the other night! Also seen The Killers in Sheffield so I made sure I got to watch them! Kasabian really impressed me, and I'm looking forward to seeing them in August in Staffordshire, along with The Fratelli's who were also top class!

Maximo Park were on the ball yesterday, I really enjoyed their set! The same with the Editors and Bloc Party! Only heard a bit of Arcade Fire as I was in work! Were they good?  :)
