After playing it properly at a mates house I really want it. Just not prepared to spend lots on it though.

Cheapest I've seen it so far is £35 on Amazon.

Play it on the Xbox in Game just now. Played as Spain vs England against computer. Was leading 2-0 through Villa and Torres but my friend wanted us to go, ;D.

Doesn't seem like a bad game but I wouldn't buy it. Hopefully FIFA 11 would be similar and I'd get that.

Same here. Played the demo and it does look to have a lot of variety compared to the older games (i.e. all the International sides, more or less, in the world) but I still don't think I'd play it enough to warrant spending the full amount.

Wait for FIFA 11 I reckon.

Its a really good game, I was worried that it was just going to be a money maker for EA before the WC but in actually fact its like Fifa10.5

They have improved the AI so no more ridiculous through balls, you actually have to build an attack, and long shots seem to have been tweeked, no more 35 yard R1 curlers but powershots from outside the box seem a bit more realistic. Oh and no more easy chip shots when 1-on-1.

The penalty system has had an overhaul. It no more picking a direction and smashing it, there is a composure bar which changes depending on the taker and the situation, and you can effectivley put it where you want. Its kind of hard to explain, get the game and do a penatly shoot out practice to really grasp the idea.

All-in-all if you have the money definatly go out and buy it. Its great to have a couple of mates round and a few beers pre-world cup, the number of countries is almost limitless so theres some real crackers to be had (St Lucia vs Dominica for example :P ). But if you strapped for cash you might as well wait for Fifa 11.

      Theres my two-cents :D

Pretty good analysis of it that!

      Who with jonty?

I played this game yesterday for a seriously unhealthy amount of time. There were four of us, and firstly we tried to lead Honduras to WC victory. Went out in the semi-final. Then we tried again with Ivory Coast - went out again the semi-final!

So much easier to play these games on your own.

Ive got this game played on legendary throughout the qualifiers and group stages with England got to the final and lost 5-2 to France think i got a bit complacent. It's alot harder to pick out passes and score than previous fifa's which i like more, also like that you can see the manager on the touch line, only problem Capello shakes his head when the national anthems playing , im hoping they include the managers in fifa 11 see Rafa giving some instructions out  ;D

      Penalties...F**k hard :P
And yeh i agree Danny, doubt it'd happen though with it having tonnes of teams. Maybe for the major ones though

Played it at a friend's house, really liked it, definitely more realistic. Although I haven't played against the Ivory Coast yet so I'm not sure if Drogba is still the best player in the world

Played this game in GAME store in town. Used Spain and played against England.

Was leading 2-0 when a friend wanted to leave the shop. Villa and Torres scored

Wouldn't buy it though as it's World Cup 2010, might as well wait for FIFA 11.

Every international side by the looks of it.

Even the minnows you always see in the qualifying stages.

Indeed. Even ridiculous ones like the Faroe Islands. (Bet people from the Faroe Islands aren't saying that though!)
