He's only 17 and plays regular football in Championship. He's a Liverpool fan and Torres is his Hero. What do u think? Maybe his price is too high but I'd rather sell Ngog and buy him (and send back to Ipswich on loan) than send Ngog on loan.

Has he been linked with us ? No . I thought the Summer Transfrer Board was for players who have been linked in the papers or on the internet Ive not seen anything about Wickham linked with liverpool . Well thats what i thought the summer transfer board was there for . Would be a good singing but no not for liverpool.

Sorry . Stevie-G never knew he was linked . No paying 10m for a 17year old yes good in the Championship but when he comes face to face with defenders like Vidic, and Terry. 10m two much for us to take that risk.

Unsettle him, Hodgson should tell the press that he's very interested but won't be held to ransom.  He has two years left on his current deal at Ipswich Town.  Talk him up, see how he handles the additional pressure and then look to sign him on a free in two years time.  Give him the Cesc Fabregas/Barcelona treatment

Connor Wickham is an exceptional talent and will become a very good player. Think it would take a big bid to get him, he will probably go to Man City or Chelsea as all of the big clubs are watching him.

I think he will turn out to be a very good player but I don't think we are in a financial position to pay £10M for a 17 year old at the moment.
