I agree, but that's kind of the player he is though, doesn't play spectacular, but he's unpredictable, always gets some goals in. He's somehow always involved in enough chances to make some of them.

I had not seen him play an awful lot before the World Cup but had read plenty about him. However, i was very impressed. He looked the all-round player and proved a brilliant ploy for Forlan. Dare i say it, he would suit upfront with Nando.....thats not going to happen though .

I think the best English player at the tournament was Steven Gerrard, though.
