Premier League 2010/11

Just seen the scenes from the Wigan game between Dave Whelan and Roberto Martinez. Made up for Martinez as it was earlier in the season he was starting to get grief from all angles.

Pleased for Martinez. His team play some good football.

Forgot about that actually! I always liked him and surely that was one of the deciding factors

Remember he played some good football back at Swansea too, tried it at Wigan and he stayed up so you could say it worked.

Well in to Roberto Martinez one of a few select gentleman left in the game.

What a season... can't wait for the next one!

Anyone realise how Theo Walcott seems to score most of his goals from the same spot and at the same corner of the goal, .

And.... I have to admit Beckford's goal was very Messi-esque.

Pleased for Wigan.  Agree with you fellas about Martinez, spoke up for Rafa more than once and implied Fergie had a 'little gang'.  Brilliant.

Will miss Ian Holloway though.  Always has something to say.

So has everyone in the media stopped wanking over Alex McLeish now then?

Really really pleased for Wigan, always liked them, since their Paul Jewell days But I'm particularly happy for Martinez, who tried to make them play football and seems to be a very decent man - he didn't deserve to suffer relegation.

Terribly sorry for Blackpool though, they were an asset to the Premier League in my opinion, were always there for the entertaining games, such a shame it didn't pay off. Loved watching their kamikaze approach! Anyway it was a great work by Holloway given how poor their team is, some of their players are probably League One standards West Ham for example had a squad a thousand times better.
