Did no one catch the quote from the physio to Roy about Agger? Thought it was hilarious.

"He doesn't know who he is, just tell him he's Pele and send him back on."

The commentator was having a laugh Y.R.F. - that quote is an old one attributed to former Partick Thistle manager John Lambie. ...but funny none the less.

I was gutted when the goal went in, and gutted for Pepe, but I'm not going to complain. I thought we looked good. We weren't afraid to run at them and we were the better team on the day. I was well impressed with Jova, Ngog and Masch and hopefully he'll decide to stay. No need to get negative after that game. Sure we probably deserved the win but who else would have taken a draw being down to ten men at half time? I know I would! Well done lads!

What a strange day. I'm not sure what surprised me more Pepe's howler (did you know that his nickname in Spain is the Queen) or the fact I agreed with something Andy Gray said-basically if the Wilshire tackle on Masch was the other way round would have the colour of the card been the same. Cannot criticise Roy or the players fo effort and desire. When Nando's fully fit he will give us 10% extra and Cole learns to relax and not try too hard we will be fine. Still need a couple more players. Bit of a surprise to see spurs physio-no wonder Agger didn't know where he was. Any Masch doubters should eat their words.
As for Atkinson I think someone should do some research on our record with him as the ref. I bet its shocking !!!!!!!!

For those that watched via the SKY coverage in the UK can I just say that Andy Gray remains a c**t of the highest order as does his co-commentator whatever the F**k his name is Martin Tyler is it..?

And Richard Keys and his studio puppet Jamie Redknapp continued with their usual bullshit.

      cu*ts the lot of them.

Had a feeling something like that would happen yesterday.Really didnt think that Arsenal deserved a point. Was gutted when there goal went in.Couldn't really see what happened at the match but watching on telly when i got in made me even more confused,it was so unlike Pepe.Let's hope thats his howler for the season.Would rather it happened now than the last game of the season.

Feel for Reina. Of course the display was encouraging esp. Ngog. I feel very optimistic for the season.

I thought Masch & Gerrard were outstanding on the pitch and defensively we were rocks out there. I felt so bad for Joe Cole and it was evident on his facial expressions that the challenge was unintentional. Pepe was misfortunate also..  I hope the FA seriously take a good look at Red Card incident and see sense. Well in David Ngog  ;)

Where did the 2 added on minutes come from in the first half? In that time Cole got sent off for a challenge that Wilshere only got a yellow for earlier on in the first half. The red card has to be rescinded surely? It has to be said that the ref was slightly pathetic. Great display for the red men in the second half, played well and deserved a lot more than that! Fantastic goal by Ngog and Jovanovic looks a very good player.

I thought we played pretty well, not 100% obviously, it will take a few more games for the players to gel.I thought we looked more positive when we went forward, and we had some good chances, we also need to keep the ball more, too many times we just hoofed it up field instead of pass it around and let the arse chase the ball.

Reina played really well, cant blame him for the OG I think most keepers would have bundled that in.

I think all in all we looked better!!

IMO, Ngog going better now. 4 goal in 3 straight game in competitive match is too good for any young player. He looks lazy but it was same style like Torres. I mean, he want to stabilize stamina and for sure Ngog is really fast player and can win the ball in the air. He remind me to Thierry Henry but of course it will take more time to put in a same level. And for me, Roy have a reason to put Ngog up front ahead Kuyt, babel & Jova because Roy had a good eye in who are the right one to make the start. I think, Ngog deserved to get more games this season, as a Subs maybe or make start in League & FA cup because Torres is still our main striker. And my one problem with Ngog is OFFSIDE...learn more from Torres how to beat offside trap...
