Petty Office Disputes

Anyone had one/noticed any?
What I notice about offices is there is a lot of pettyness(usually in a funny mild mannered way) and people seem to treasure the smallest things there.
Me and a workmate have been arguing over a desk and hes told me to pick my window if I sit there tomorrow, it was my desk but I went on the sick for 4 weeks and he sat there in my absence, because we have seating areas(load of sh*te) we cant sit in other areas without being read the riot act.
Looks like its going to be a fight to the death haha.

Yea our office is like that in the sense that we fight over storage space even though we probably have double the desk sizes of an average office.  I find that if you subtlely "lend" unwanted items, files etc to your colleagues when they are not at their desk you can reclaim your own space for important stuff like your LFC mug!

On a related matter my boss is a Skumsea fan so I can't wait to go to work and rip the sh*t
