To be fair against Valencia at least they did not play badly. I watched the 2nd half and they created plenty of chances, with a bit more luck they could have scored 2 or 3 goals. Alba messed up at least two very good chances although he got the assist for Messi. Piqué missed an easy chance near the end and so on. It's not like they've suddenly stopped being Barcelona. I expect them to get back to form soon and still win the league.

In reference to your earlier post, perhaps your observation of Sunday nights match was an indication of just how influential and significant Pako did as assistant manager here at Liverpool. I actually wonder how much more Rafa's career could have progressed if he had kept Pako on his side rather than getting rid of him. Like the saying 'Behind every great man is a great woman' similar can be said of managers only that 'behind every great manager is a great assistant manager'!

having followed the la liga awards the last few years then god knows, ramos usually gets the best defender award, Ronaldo is usually gets given an award even if they have to invent a new award.

Probably depends on who wins La Liga and the UCL.

Then again, if Barca can win everything and Sergio Ramos is still named ahead of Pique in the team of the year, anything is possible.
