Nice. I can't sleep, but I cant wait to get up after 5 hours sleep to spend £30 to travel the hundred odd miles on a train to that small stadium in the Midlands to watch Lucas and Poulson pass it forwards and backwards.

£60 quid to watch a ball slowly go back to Pepe. Cant F***ing wait. Nice one Roy.

I'm not buying that. Isn't Raul getting his first run out tomorrow?

Seems F***ing ages since a REAL match.

Yeah, if I turn the tv on and find that kind of negativity, I'll put my foot through the tv. BC are certainly not pushovers, but we shouldn't be too troubled.

No pushovers certainly, but you still need to score against them tow in. I feel, as much as i think Lucas isn't that bad, that you either start with Lucas OR poulsen. Not bot

So long as I get to sing for 90 minutes I'll be happy enough. Although maybe something entertaining on the pitch wouldn't go amiss but I won't hold my breath.

If I was 4000 miles away I could have a nice lie in...Im gonna fall asleep at half time at this rate.

Agreed. I'd like to see Roy unleash Lucas and let him wander forward while Raul owns the midfield. Let's see what this attack-minded midfielder has.

Christ not Poulsen and Lucas again.

Would rather see Gerrard pushed back at one there expense and Pacheco in the hole.

I was optimistic for the game yesterday until I woke up to see that there could be both Lucas and Poulsen in the middle . I really hope that Richard Buxton is wrong , or at least Poulsen gets injured . Playing both Lucas and Poulsen is sending out the wrong message to the opponent , telling them that we don't want to attack . Roy , we are going for the win , not for the draw . And of we want to get 4th , we'd have to go for a very big . Oh god , please prove twitter wrong !

Absolutely buzzing for this, been too long since we've seen the lads out on the park. Going to be tough but if we want to get anywhere this season, these are the places we have to go and bring home the 3 points. Come on you Redmen.

This is a difficult game no question, one away win out of last 10 for us and they havent lost at home in the last 16!

      4-0 to us  ;)

...No seriously, Id be happy with any sort of 3 points, just hope Roy doesnt start with Lucas / Poulsen in the centre.

In the prediction i've gone for 0-1 to us.

Torres to score, its a very physical game and the lose of mascherano will show in this one.

This isn't no 7-0'er now lads. It's a close one.

surely that can't be right... sh*t, it is... that is depressing.  I know it includes trips to Utd, Arsenal and two to City... but also to Hull, Stoke, Wigan and Wolves, three points from those four... f**k.

I don't get why people complain so vociferously about Lucas and Poulsen who have only played together once - okay they were woeful - but this defensive approach is no different to the Lucas and Mascherano pairing we consistently played all last year.  I certainly hope we play Meireles ahead of Poulsen today, I just don't get the level of anger.

That's why your seeing the level of anger mate that approach cost us dearly last year. :D

No one was happy about Lucas and Masch together either! If it's Lucas and Poulsen today, i can't see where the attacks are going to start from, neither of them are renowned for their 40 yard defence splitting passes.
Sure Birmingham are a tough team to beat at home, but we have more than enough attacking potential to create plenty of chances, and with Torres looking back to full fitness and scoring again he only needs one chance.
Attacks start from midfield, and that's why we cant play games like this with two holding players.

This will be hard, would prefer 2 defensive mids to control the game and then have some real pace upfront to hit them hard on breaks/over the top.

They have no speed at the back but will be solid in the air, as their at home they'll push forward so nice low balls to the corners please so we can lay back to stevie and nando on the 6/18 yard line :)
