      Hamann 'dreams' of Liverpool job

Dietmar Hamann believes he is gaining "invaluable experience" at MK Dons, which he hopes will help fulfil his dream of one day managing Liverpool.

The 37-year-old joined the League One outfit in a player-coach role during the summer, having left Manchester City in 2009.

Hamann says he is flourishing alongside manager Karl Robinson and his backroom staff of Alex Rae and John Gorman, but admits the Dons are a stepping stone in his coaching career.

"I can gain invaluable experience and learn things from Karl, Alex and John every day while I am doing my coaching badges," he told the Daily Mail. "I want to play this year and then see.

"When I have my Pro licence, I will see where I am wanted. I would like to stay in this country but you never know.

"And it would be nice to go back to Liverpool one day and to work in some capacity, play some part. Obviously to manage them would be a dream come true."

If the 4 Turds, or any of their appointees stay at this club, I think we could be seeing alot of managers in the coming years. There's great manager, has a hse on Merseyside and he's won us the European Cup. Yet some cu*ts paid 10m of OUR money to break his contract.

We're gonna see a continutation of the manager scapegoat tactics. Pretty much like how all the crap teams - West Ham, Fulham etc are run. UNLESS we choose to stop it.

NOT A PENNY MORE - TO KOP FOOTBALL LTD, OR THE SPONSORS AKA PARTNERS IN CRIME.

Very knowledgable man is our Didi. Himself and Carra do great work for us under the right owners

Am I right in thinking that, like Carragher does now, Hamann used to occasionally pitch up at The Academy/youth and help out?  Wonderful player for us as well, even though when he was at his best, he was 'invisible' on the pitch, because he cleared up the danger & moved the ball on swiftly.

The man has a fantastic insight to youth systems, both our own and in Germany. Would be great at playing the right formation and getting in quality young talent

I think Carragher and Hamann could be another Shankly and Paisley combo!

I think Hamman is best served in what he is doing and that's his apprenticeships in the lower leagues, learn to walk before he can run and he will no doubt be a great manager as that experience will only be beneficial for his managerial credentials. I'd love to see him back at Anfield in a coaching/managing capacity one day.
