Yeah Dortmund (that's for you crouchinho :P ) looked really impressive even without Barrios.

Really impressed with Hummels, he has the look of a great ball moving CB, he can really pick a pass.

      :D Good job.

Merged with the already existing Bundesliga topic that was about 5 threads down from the top of page one.

Will be following Werder as i usually do, but keeping an eye on Monchengladbach. Hoping Marin kicks on and Reus flourishes even more.

Gotze is magical though, isn't he?

      Mainz v Leverkusen

      Bayern v Monchengladbach

The 2 games showing live on ESPN tomorrow

Monchengladbach impressed me a lot toward the end of the season.

Hopefully Dutt will do a job at Leverkusen.

€10m for Vidal was a right bargain

He looks like another Ozil, won't be too long before Europeans elite will pick their team to bits. They really lucky only to lose Sahin

did anyone else see stuttgart's okazaki's goal against shalke?

      was a beauty

on a seperate note, this is my first season properly following the bundesliga, any reccommendations on who to support?

      links to liverpool, ex-players etc.

i know most if not all of the bayern players, as i'm sure most people do but i wouldn't want to seem like a gloryhunter and would be extra-dubious considering our european history with them

Monchengladbach has special links to Liverpool. Also have a superb young player in Marco Reus to follow.

Hoffenheim have Ryan Babel and i can't really think of too many others on the top of my head.

I follow Werder Bremen on top of Monchengladbach. They're a fun team to watch, a lot of players who love to attack.

Hopefully Dortmund can go back to back but Sahin was a massive loss for them plus there is the distraction of the CL.

The only thing I worry about is how thin they are up top, I would think adding striker on top of Lewandowski and Barrios.

Yeah that is the thing I worry too with the additional involvement in CL they will be really stretched.

      Reus
      Marin
      Gotze
      Muller
      Vidal
      Hummels
      Subotic
      Howedes
      Baumann
      Schurlle
      Badstuber
      Gundogan
      Kroos

They're the best youngsters off the top of my head but i would of missed a lot of the obscure ones.

Hate to have to correct you Crouchinho but Vidal joined Juve for €10m. I'm gutted tbh cause Bayer could have at least gotten 15 for him.

And to simolfc Sami Hyypia is a coach(former player) at Leverkusen who also use YNWA as their song before + after their matches  .

Not sure they could of gotten 15 for him. Last year of contract. The baffling part was that no Premier League teams were in for him. Outstanding player.

Yeah only found out just after i posted. Sorry. Haven't kept up to date with any other clubs than us.

Bad form for them not to renew his contract last season. Massive player for them who could do it all. 10m is pittance.

The rest haven't left though, i can assure you vsuarez :D
