Champions League qualification and a cup victory? That's a good season especially when you've sold key players like Mkhywhatever. Must have a had a terrible relationship with the boardroom.

Yea apparently the major falling out was the board taking the decision to play the CL game the next day after the bomb attack without any consultation with Tuchel.

Just finished watching Trainer! - a German documentary that is available on Netflix right now. Really interesting two hour documentary following the fate of three relatively unknown (at the time) coaches across the 2012/2013 German football season. The coaches are Andre Schubert at FC Pauli (most recently managed Monchengladbach), Stephen Schmidt at SC Paderborn and Frank Schmidt at third division FC Heidenheim. Frank Schmidt is probably the 'main star' of the documentary who has been head coach of his team since 2007 and has guided them from the lowly regional divisions of Germany to Bundesliga 2. Catch it if you can - it's a great insight into Germany football AND features contributions from top German coaches including Armin Veh, Thomas Schaaf and our very own Jürgen!

Bundesliga making history for having first female referee and I think it is quite a good moment for football.
There needs to be more diversity in football.
From the scientific book based on multiple studies that I read there are vision differences are as below.

      1) Females see a wider scope
      2) Females see colours better

      1) Males see further in the distance
      2) Males detect rapid moving stimuli slightly quicker

It is because thousands of years ago, Males were the hunters whilst the females gathered fruit and look after children, so evolution sparked slightly different.

      https://inside-the-brain.com/tag/peripheral-vision/

Good article here that is similar to the book I read.
Anyway, hope to see more female referees in the game.

Could be an opening for the Managers slot at Bayern in the summer.

And he just beat Bayern the other week so that would have done his credentials no harm at all.

Bit of an outside shot but if David Wagner continues to go from strength to strength with Huddersfield who knows? Will be interesting to see how they fill that if/when it becomes available next summer. Unless relations took a dramatic turn for the worst with FSG I couldn't ever see Jürgen taking it even if he was approached.

That young English lad who City sold to Dortmund is unreal. Looks a better prospect than Dembele who went to Barca already. Few years time and he's starting for England.

Just noticed Dortmunds form has fallen off a cliff face since they lost to Spurs, not sure what is going on there.

Really strange, the defensive high line has really been exposed recently and the midfield isn't as balanced

Interesting situation, in jurgen's last season they kept him despite being in the relegation zone for ages, so bizarre how the form has gone

Hey guys!!! I wanted to ask you lot, did anyone get the chance to watch Stefan Effenberg? I remember growing up as a kid and being so transfixed by his play style. Redknapp was my first exposure of a pass master, but Effenberg was something special and took the biscuit!! I can't remember if he was a complete midfielder, but what I remember was his passing and how commanding he was in midfield.

A very good player although not as good as he thought he was,  was a bit too prima dona for me , suited bayern perfectly when people called them fc Hollywood.  Never did much for Germany as his ego got in his way

Don't usually watch these 2 teams in action, but enjoying the match! I also wonder if Dortmund need a new keeper, maybe Migs? :D But fair play to Kramaric, very good finish.

Looks like dortmund are signing marvin hitz of augsburg who i don't really rate as a keeper, also talk of liechsteiner from juve who is about 80
