Im actually looking forward to Sunday, we will have a much better team out with some craft and creativity. I liked what i saw of Raul last night and of course Joey will be back[ no more rash tackles joe, especially at o.t], and when will people learn that Fernando Torres takes at least 3 full starts after hes been out a bit ..... then brace, brace, hat trick.. need i say more. Beware a mauled torres utd, a dangerous animal.

I think you might be wrong, because the game against manu should not be use as an experiment, as it might cost us the game.

Hardly an experiment pushing an attack minded ful back into midfield where he can do his attacking as well as coveing his full back who in this case would be the well capable Kelly. Likewise moving Cole to where he played most of his career and sloting a talented attacking player like Pacheco inthe hole behind Nando isnt much of an experiment.

It's that time of the year again! F**kin hell I love the build up to this match, the biggest game on the calendar for me. When the fixtures come out, straight away I look for when are we playing Utd.

In regards to Sunday, form goes out the F***ing window, it's whoever plays better on the day. Honestly I think it'll be tight but I'm confident we can knick it. Im watching it with 2 Liverpool fans and 1 very brave Utd fan, usual setup

im happy with that as a starting line up, i know Babel played piss poor on Thursday but i would like to see him start ahead of Maxi on the right, he has moments of brilliance and could really upset their defence.

I don't think Cole's best position is on the wing. He should be right in front of Gerrard and behind Torres.

Well it is about finding a good formation isn't it? We cannot have all attacking players. I am not a fan of 4-2-3-1. If we play 4-2-3-1 there is no way Roy will leave out both Lucas and Poulsen. One of them will play next to Meireles in that formation imo. So that would mean that either Cole or Gerrard would have to play wide in the 3 behind Torres with the other central.

I think it would be silly to go there and play 4-4-1-1 and leave space between our defence and midfield for them to exploit!

i dislike hearing lucas name on the team sheet for now. Midfield will be where bettle will lie so we need both experiance, skillful and intelligent set of midfield personnel

I actually agree about playing Johnson right midfield with Kelly behind him. Not the other one, though! Joe Cole looks really settled in the hole so the left side of midfield is a battle between Maxi Rodriguez, Milan Jovanovic and Ryan Babel. Maxi did really well compared to his previous games on the right last night but I'm not sure how he'll fare on the left.

I agree corbally. They are there to be gotten at. They are nothing special these days, as Everton showed.I do not want to see Lucas and Poulsen together. I do not think we will, but I can see one of them being paired with Meireles.
