I'm not sure. I'd say stick with same team that won the last game in europa league. it would give the youngsters and second string players a sense of ownership and purpose and invaluable experience. save torres and gerrard for prem. i realise it's not the liverpool way not to want to win everything, i'm just being realistic.

I can remember us winning the league using only 16 players, so play your best 11 and stick to it ROY, give the lads a chance to gel without this constant changing.

I would field the strongest possible side, they need to play with each other and win a game or 2 to have confidence in their team mates.

Should be a full strength squad the lads need game time to start to gel and find some form.

At this very moment in time I couldn't really care too much about this 2nd group game.

Yeah i'd go with that, full strength and the same lot should be fine to play against Blackpool on the weekend.

While I feel the Premier League should be our main priority, we could build some confidence by winning this game. Losing this game will only hurt team morale more.

Kuyt must play.

He started his career there. must be very emotional for him.

Can we compare Celtic with Sunderland then? I'm confident we can beat them too, but they shouldn't be taken lightly.

Mate the way we are playing I wouldn't put us miles ahead of Celtic at the moment, Rangers got a good draw with Utd at Old Trafford 2 weeks ago. All I'm saying with Hodgson away record don't be suprised if we are beat here.

I'm leaning towards a win for us even with our recent bad streak, Utrecht is pretty inconsistent as well, also because they have some young and inexperienced players. We have alot more quality than them if our best team is played, obviously. We might even completely hammer them. However, if we have a bad day and they have a good day.. well, I don't want to experience that.
