Touche ;) But i just mean its never 'acceptable' in my mind. I know where you are coming from, and see your point, but i know if we lose ill be on borderline tears and the last thing on my mind will be 'Oh well at least it may mean Roy leaves' - know what i mean?

I know exactly what you mean mate, but I'd take a 12 incher right now to get rid of Roy and the owners, so one result although it may hurtm would be for the greater good in my opinion.

Seriousl question, do you want to see Roy get to January and spend any of the moneys given by the potential new regime ?

I know I don't and victories against any clubs will only strengthen his position.

I envisage lots of red cards, were both in the F***ing mire and desperate for points.

Aye, i understand mate. And i do see the point, and it is a good one. I just know that emotionally, if we lose that'll be the last thing on my mind and same thing during the match. As soon as i see the kick off with those cu*ts out on the field ill be screaming murder as i always am during the derbies :D

If we lose, he gets sacked, then ill see the bright side. But i won't until it happens.

Oh, and to answer your question. Hodgson with funds to spend is one of my worst nightmares at the minute. I can just imagine him selling Torres and replacing him with F***ing Heskey and Cole or something!

      Very much agreed.

Can you think of anything much better than thrashing Everton (he says optimistically) in front of the new owner to kick start our season. I hope Roy sets the team up to be a bit more attacking than in our previous games. Anyway, I am looking forward to it and hopefully putting all our off field dramas aside. Good luck Redmen!

What is the shortest run for an EPL Manager? Because, honestly this team is too talented to be into the relegation zone so early. Is this a team that is going to win the league this season. Probably not, but they are certainly better than their record shows. Too me thats stinks of manager and match prep.  I dont think the whole ownership mess is helping but this is still a talented team which should easily be a top 6 squad.

I usually give new managers the benefit of the doubt, but something is wrong and his management skill is not working and the players just dont seem to be responding.  I hate to say it so early in the season but this is a Must Win for Liverpool.  Not just for the 3 points but for the attitude of the team and the players.

Just hope the takeover is complete before this match. I think it's the only thing that may lift the players and secure a win. The most of them will likely be playing for their future at Liverpool if they think there may be funds to replace the under achievers. Bloody good job too.

Neville wants to pile misery on Reds

Everton captain Phil Neville is looking to put the boot into Liverpool in next week's Merseyside derby.

Neville will lead out a Toffees side that finds itself above their ailing city rivals in the table following their disastrous start to the season.

Everton are hardly in rude health themselves, having won just one of their opening seven Premier League games, but Neville is hoping to pile the misery on the Reds.

"It's going to be a massive game.

I think you relish the fact that they are below you," he said.

"I don't think it has ever happened since I have been on Merseyside that Liverpool have been below us so it's something that you would like to happen more often.

"Everton fans have been looking up to them for a long, long time and it's about time we started putting pressure on them and finishing above them.

"This season gives us a great chance of that. Both teams are at the wrong end of the table and that's probably unprecedented for both the blue half and the red half of Merseyside to have the two teams in the bottom four."

Meanwhile, Neville believes the Merseyside derby is bigger than the Manchester ones he took part in while at United.

"It's probably the biggest game I've played in club football and at Everton it's the biggest game in our season every season," he added.

"The win against Birmingham (last weekend) has given us all a lift because it would have been disastrous if we had gone into the game at the bottom of the table.

"It has given us some respite but we know full well if we lose this game we are right down at the bottom again. We want to be on the climb and not on the descent.

"We have been playing better than the results suggest but we have not been getting the results so that has been the biggest disappointment."

Someone needs to tell this vile MancBitter that life is like a goldfish bowl.
Eventually all the sh*t sinks to the bottom.

                                Reina

                              Gerrard

                         Torres (if he's fit)/Jovanovic

Your right to suggest dropping Poulson as he's really been struggling, but surely bringing Lucas back into the fold would only worsen our situation? I'd personally like to see Agger put in midfield as an anchor man as he's strong, reliable and good on the ball. So I reckon he'd be well suited to protecting the back four from midfield. Also, Skrtel's strength, aggression and commitment will be useful in what's sure to be a heated derby. Fingers crossed Torres will be fit, but if he isn't then I'd put Kuyt upfront, Cole on the right and Jovanovic on the left. Here's my team...

                         Reina
      Johnson  Carra  Skrtel  Konchesky
                         Agger
                 Gerrard  Meireles
      Kuyt            Torres             Cole
