Hear hear!  For me I would add stability.  NESV brought stability and steady improvement to the Boston Red Socks.  Thats all I'm asking for.  I don't need an overnight change (its not very realistic anyway.)

I've been called worse however i have never in my life called for a managers head but as nice a man as he undoubtably is. His tactics, team selection lack of positiveness on the field and off and subs so far have left me cold.
And as people point out we're not that far away from the top four positions but i feel under Roy  we will not challenge further than mid table obscurity so get someone in now,its my opinion and if that makes me an idiot then fine  ill quite happliy lick a few windows if it means we re successful.

3) Sufficient transfer funds to meet our new manager's ambitions.
4) No interference from the board in footballing matters.

7) A share scheme for fans to purchase ordinary shares with full voting and other rights to raise further equity for the club.

All I want from them is honesty.

For them to NOT take one penny out of the club until they sell it. In other words allow all operating profits to be used to improve the club.

If they invest in a new stadium or upgrade the existing stadium not to increase ticket prices in a manner that precludes ordinary fans attending games.

For them not to borrow money using the equity in the club as collateral, in other words saddle the club with debt.

Honesty. Just tell us the truth. If money isn't available in a particular transfer window, just tell us, don't lie.

Get the stadium, or expansion of Anfield, done. This is critical if the club is to compete at the highest level whilst remaining largely self-sufficient. It's in everyone's interests.

The club for me doesn't do nearly enough to market itself on a European and world scale. The market is there, the fans are there. Exploit it, rake in the cash and pump a large part of it back into the club.

Bang on. But I think Roy is the man to take us forward and to our 19th League title.

Saw the interview after the deal was done and was impressed he didnt mention any plans or make any promises just hope he takes it one day at a time and builds the club up slowly but surely that the best way for sustaining the club in the future.............

Purslow has to go remember his lies about spending on transfers when we all new the sale of our best players was going to service the debt. Ian Ayres brought in Standard so he seems to be doing a good job. Broughtonwas only ever here short term so lets get some good people in now.but for the owners lets get back to doing things the Shankly way in other words the right way.

1- start plans for new stadium immediately
2- start building asap and be moved in by the next three years
3- allow £40million in the next transfer window (January)
4- another £30-40m in the summer
5- then each summer we should have at least £25million to spend but hopefully within 2 seasons we wont need to like Chelsea.
6- be open to fans, dont keep things as secrets and dont make promises you cant keep.
7- call a meeting with senior players such as Gerrard, Reina and Torres and end all speculation of them leaving by promising them progress in the next year
8- clear all our debt immediately
9- sack Roy Hodgson within the next month if results do not improve
10- allow Kenny to take to the helm on an interim deal and if he is succesful, offer him the job.
11- if not... try and bring back Rafa and pay out his contract. If not, Pellegrini.
12- enjoy the experience of owning the greatest club in the world!!!

Now, having had time to reflect, now that the dust storm has died down. I can't help but feel very nervous about NESV, Broughton et al.

Maybe this is natural, maybe it's (expected) nerves after the last three years, but I can't shake the feeling that we are taking a massive step into more unknown territory. I don't trust any of them because talk is cheap. I don't care about track records either. That's American sports with American mindset and that's a million years away from 'football' and Anfield. Different worlds Henry.

Maybe I'm just getting old and crotchety, but I'm extremely wary about us all jumping into bed with NESV. They will have to earn our affection.

About the only thing I feel confident about right now, is our ability to make a lot of 'noise' and really upset the powers that be if they too think they can mess about with our club.

January transfer window - need to signal our intent and buy QUALITY players that can scare the opposition just by being on the teamsheet...no idea where we will be in the table by January but here's hoping we can end our season well:
- a striker (Llorente, Aguero, Suarez...wondering if the new owners will opt for Donovan to help break the US market)
- two wingers (Marko Marin the German Messi, Mata)
- a player like Honda who can play in a few positions and is a free kick specialist
- a defensive midfielder like Defour or Banega (wish it would be Xabi but I dont see him coming back)
