If JĆ¼rgen Klopp was not required to perform miracles on a regular basis on account of zero financial input from FSG would he be as drained mentally as he is now.
It is accepted that a post managing Germany's national side would be a less taxing proposition, for that matter any job funded adequately would be preferential to FSG's modus operandi.

So according to that logic Chelsea's blank cheque MO is the panacea for managerial health....Statistics don't back that up.

Back to square 1 with FSG false economies and managers galore.

The club's and FSG's saviour exits, undoubtedly the only manager who could operate successfully under them as events will prove.

Manager's galore is one I enjoy you bringing up.

This will only be their fourth full time appointment, third if you probably accept Kenny was never going to be along term solution.

      That's in 14 years.

Not exactly the managers galore you keep bringing up time and time again.

      What are these miracles ?

Is that spending Ā£890mil on players

Ā£80mil on the likes of VVD , Ā£50mil on the likes of Allison

      Who are miracles

Why is good scouting , recruiting , coaching and management now seen as ā€œmiracleā€ working

Is that not how itā€™s supposed to be - itā€™s called having a club run well

Kenny came in on a short term , they then have had 2 other managers

Since they have been owners I believe that only Arsenal have had the same number of managers - everyone else , a lot more

I think the way JĆ¼rgen spoke during his interview you could see it was something deeper than the circumstances of his tenure and the owners. If anything he was at pains to say it had to do with personal reasons. I think at one point he alluded to last season being the stage at which he began having thoughts of leaving but he's also said many times previously that he's always wanted to spend more time with family and live a normal life. You cannot put a price on that. We've been lucky to have him, we're infinitely better off than we were before, and there is a certain Liverpool legend potentially waiting in the wings over in Germany who might take over the reins so that's enough for me to feel optimistic about the future.

What other club has had an owner worth billions who spent a fair amount of that sum on signings and when FFP loomed large abandoned it?
Chelsea are now a mid-table entity with decidedly gloomy prospects.

We have had 4 in 14 years if you include woy

Before that was 5 in 13 years including Woy

Before that was 4 in 13 years

A lot of weird, bad faith, narrative being forced in here lately.

The main points for FSG right now is what do they do post Klopp.

That should be in motion now and the answer is act quickly to do the following:

      - Get Alonso in as manager.

      - If Alonso wants Florian Wirtz and Piero HincapiƩ then you get those transfers done.

      Everything else follows from there.

AdriƔn, Thiago and Matip leave at the end of their contracts.

Virgil, Trent and Salah are then the ones you have to urgently address.

Their previous success is a questionable riddle in a footballing sense, the only solution involves dodgy finance.

That's more of a structural decision.

Strikes me as a whataboutery response as it doesn't really address any of the points I've made
but goes off on a tangent.

Of course the club needs a DoF, but the biggest concern right now is getting the right person in post Klopp.

Getting a DoF in is something that should also be happening in the backgroud.

I'm talking about what the club needs to do in a footballing context immediately to deal with life after Klopp.
Needing a DoF is something that has been needed even with Klopp still in charge.
