      Don't do this.

Do you ever remember Match of the Day sequence? They used it when he scored that screamer and it was very evident what he was shouting.

      I miss him.  A lot.

      Every game 1000 %
Give me a team full of him.
Wasnt that when he scored a hat trick agianst Everton.
      Ah Happy days.

Alonso and Mascherano, if we had them in midfield things would be a lot different even with that F***ing ape in charge.

I really  don't think Alonso was heartbreaking, I was prepared for it.  It had become clear to me he wanted to go home for a long time, so when it happened, I wished him luck and understood it.

When Keegan left we were in a state of limbo although he had signalled his intentions months earlier.the good news was we got a far better replacement in signing Kenny Dalglish. Also I think the leaving of Liverpool Football Club by the late great Bill Shankly has to rate as the most Heart Wrenching Departure of any player or manager. We were all in a state of shock when it happened.

Shankly had admitted he had done 15 years at Liverpool and was knackered. He reportedly had only taken his wife out twice in those years. You dont let a man in that position make such a monumental decision you tell him to go away while Bob looks after things and come back in a month and talk about it then. The samething should of happend to Kenny.
The bitters were so delighted at Shankly's departure they were convinced we would be finished enter Sir Bob.
Of more upto date heroes leaving Luis Garcia he was a genius so what if he couldnt tackle he always performed in the big games.

My worry is that the most heart wrenching departures may yet still come to pass if Roy remains beyond early November....

In recent years my most heart wrenching departure was Alonso as it was only evident after he left what impact that had on everyone.

I am fully aware of how long Bill Shankly did at Anfield but whatever his reason for leaving did not make it any easier at the time.Thankfully he had set up the system (boot room) where we had Bob Paisley and Joe Fagan to carry on and raise the standards even higher. Who could forget Garcia against Chelsea.

King Kenny without a shadow. It was downhill from there until Houllier put us back on the map. Would like to say God aswell but Houllier had sort of slowly taken him away already.

...and who can forget Jean Michel Ferri's departure?  ;) He went as quietly as he arrived.
