I hate to say I hope we lose, the quicker Roy is gone the better.

He isn't our future, and my biggest fear is that we get 6th or 7th with Roy
and then he stays for years doing the same thing.

win lose or draw Roy is history momentum is against him.

He should leave a legacy though, like the visual of Sam Alladyce baring his ass at the Kop as Blackburn hammer in their
eigth unanswered goal. Roy Hodgson sat stroking his chin with a look on his face like 'where am I'. The Headline in all the shitehawk newspapers 'RAFA's FLOPS BLOWN APART BY SAM'

Mate I really hope your right, I was hoping after Blackpool he's be gone, then Everton and altho we had a 0-0 with Napoli the performance was still pretty dire so I was hopin he'd be out but he's still there.

Its just one long nightmare at the moment :(

With all the Hodgson talk it really doesn't matter right now on Sunday. He is the manager and we need to win end of story. I am tired of being at the bottom of the table. We could be dead last if West Ham pick up a point tomorrow! Am I really saying that? Is this really Liverpool?

I'm frustrated, on one hand I'd like us to win and climb up the table but that would allow Roy to hang around a little longer and prolong our frustration but if we lose Roy will most likely be gone soon but we'll most likey end up at the bottom of the table and it's pretty embarassing.

Judging by the article RLB posted, a quote on the derby last week:

      Quote
This match was not lost on accounts of lack of passion or any of that nonsense, it’s just simply that Liverpool were hindered by Roy Hodgson’s overly defensive and negative system that has continually negated the attacking talents of this Liverpool side.

I've stated before that the attacking players ( and especially the ones surrounding the central midfielders ) have been suffering from the negative tactics Roy has employed. Their flair and creativity are slowly being killed by it.

The team sits to far back and more passes are tended to be played in our own half. Our attacking players hardly see enough action to even do anything.

Against any oppositions, we need to press high and force them to do mistakes in their own half, regardless if it's home or away. A win is what we need now and then a run of wins is what we'll need.

Mate,it is already embarrasing, remember who we are.Our support has been diluted by corporate ticketing, our Boardroom belongs on a Monty Python scetch, and the team are as cohesive as an Arab/Israeli border dispute.Time to stop.Get rid of the manager and Board.Appoint Kenny and Tommo,to see us through the season.Appoint a Board ,based on NESV experience, and take the Boardroom forward, with a fan input,to keep reality in the Boardroom. In the old days ,we had a "boot-room",and a Board who were anonymous.Time to go back to first principles I think.

If we win and climb UP the league, then Roy is doing his job. But at present he is not.

Fully agreed. Hope NESV is decisive and get things moving soon. Yes, the bootroom thing is what we needed most now. Kenny & Tommo combo will be ideal, I hope NESV can see that. Time to give Roy the golden handshake.

So, he has to keep winning to keep his job, but can't see that happening anytime soon. It was something like  ..... we need to win against Sunderland, we need to win against Blackpool, we need to win against Everton, but we have won nothing so far. It's the same now for Roy  ... we need to beat Blackburn. We shall see then. If Roy doesn't win the game on 24th, the noose will tighten on him.

Really need a change of emphasis at Anfield on Sunday. Decided to go for a team based on who performed in midweek rather than reputation. So Ngog, Babel, Poulsen, Konchesky and Carra were the ones to lose out for me.

      Going for a 0-0 here.
