Slaughter & May

Just wanted to let you all know that today I had the pleasure of thanking a Slaughter & May employee for the fantastic job they did helping us remove H&G.  

They didn't personally work on the case but said it certainly made a change to their normal routine having fans and the press camped outside the offices for 3 days.

I asked them on behalf of us all on this forum to thank the powers that be for a job well done.

Edit - just realised this my 2000 post 

They weren't bad were they?  


seriously though, it was extremely reassuring to have the best in the business on our side

Not the biggest UK practice but certainly the best.

Bet that was a very pleasing conversation to have Debs, well done, and congrats on the post count as well.

I know personally the chances of meeting someone in that line of work would involve me wearing a suit and pleading not guilty, how did you meet them?

Congrats on the milestone and congrats on all the trawling you did on the takeover Debs.

I work in a call centre mate and they happened to phone in.  I only realised when I checked their email address which was a Slaughter & May email.

Thanks everyone for the congrats and the trawling I did for the takeover was time very well spent considering the outcome we all achieved.
