Lucas contract talks

Has improved greatly and has been arguably player of the year last year and done well so far in this. Should get a new contract.

Looking better going forward recently.

Lets hope he keeps it up because he has worked hard but he still needs to plug away at his passing I think. Gives it away easily at times.

Just seen Hodgson on SSN and he actually said "I have no idea how long he has left on his contract".

Even my missus laughed.

It's one of two things, he's offended because he's been taken out of the loop or he's really, really clueless. Hopefully it's the former.

I agree that this is well deserved for Lucas and yes it does sound like that Comolli is calling the shots when it comes to players contracts and players being brought in. This sounds like that Roy is there for coaching reasons because if he had a proper management role he would know exactly where and how contract negociations were going. This is good-ish news. They obviously think that Roy would waste money in the transfer market and think that some of the youngsters woud news ld have gone ifhe had his way. The not so good news is his coaching methods and tactics.

Roy covered his mouth, as if he was embarrassed because he cant answers these types of question anymore. Purely a coach now. Comolli seems to have total control. Sign Lucas up, but dont take his transfer advice

Never expected the guy to stay - good season so far

Good news
It's only wonder that few years ago how LFC fans around the world complain on Rafa always has faith in Lucas. And I can say even almost all football fans in the world (maybe except Brazil) also having question seeing Lucas play for Brazil team. Today we finally see him much improved and happy he is our player, great Lucas, really great Rafa.

This tell us that when a manager/coach  having great faith in any player like Alex Fuckerson for Fletcher and Rafa for Lucas, we better give them chance to do their job. Now our manager Roy doing the similar thing for Poulsen so as a fan I tried to keep quiet too 

Lucas Really deserves it.

Lucas is a true Red, other players would do well to follow his attitude.
