Swann won't do anything at the Gabba. Never been a good ground for spinners. He'll tear it up at Sydney though, i feel. I was there last week watching a Sheffield Shield game in state cricket and it was a green top, which means they're preparing it for a soft, sticky wicket for the spinners to carve.

Now you know the loyalty from our Aussie friends on here who stay up to watch the Reds regularly  ;D

That's because Liverpool play at normal hours though Smiggs and it's the Aussies whose hours are all to cock. So it's only right they get up and watch football at normal hours

Swann is a top class bowler who has proved me wrong because I never thought he'd do well at Test cricket. And he'll make things happen on any pitch.

Swann can do anything on any wicket ;), nah I know it's not the best ground for spinners, still feel Swann can do a job there though.

I always like seeing us bowling first for some reason. But like you said mate, regardless of whether we bat or bowl first, we'll still win the opening Test.
Yeah i see what you mean there, we have real explosiveness in our bowling line up and can rip through a team on the first morning. Just hope Jimmy gets to grips with that kokaburra ball this time.

Hopefully not. He was probably the best bowler in the last series with his variation in his deliveries, i'm hoping we can smash him to all grounds this time.

We're getting hyped up too much. I'm not used to this much confidence in an England side before an Ashes series

The Highlights are on ITV4! That is just dreadful. ITV4 FFS!

I'm just going to wait 'til I get up, Don't have SKY, and I'm sure Long Wave Radio does not exist anymore.

Pitch is very green. Should offer something for the seamers that, though our seam attack usually need swing to help them.

Yeah, especially Jimmy, when it's swinging he's the best bowler around. Broad and Finn could be very dangerous on this fast bouncy pitch if they put it in the right areas.
