Could you ever see a Roy team playing like that?

      Not a chance.

See the media are all over lovely spurs lately. I hope we go out there tomorrow and get stuck into them.

We get three points were back in the mix which would be a miracle considering our start. Push Johnson forward from RB and have Lucas cover if Bale counters. I'd have played Sotis in this one to prevent Crouchies knockdowns but if VTV is out can only really see Bale or Modric being dangerous from 18yards. Hope Nando gets some support, we really need this game and been sh*te away from home this season (especially vs the top teams). Just got a feeling about this one...

We will be lucky to get a draw here and everyone knows it. They are a far better footballing side with a much more confident, attack minded and intelligent manager. Even with Gerrard we would have struggled. If anyone can give me a reason why we can win based upon what we have seen for months then I will gladly join in.

Yes you have a point, lets hope they have heavy legs, we have had a full week off, last time we had a full week off between games we won at Bolton...so there is a glimmer....

Link from a fan site does not make it fact, unless they have a link to Roy's iPad.

But one thing they have right is Pepe Reina will start in goal

Cole will be a good assest for us to bring on of the bench as an impact player. He's not the player he was a few years ago. Hopefully Roy will bring him on for 20mins and he'll make an impact. Really surprised about Poulsen though, thought he was a definite starter. Think Nando will get a goal tommorow and get back to his best.

      Sure about that?

What if Poulsen showed he is an immense stopper.

Will be a tough ask for ye. Can see Bale tearing Johnso to shreds. Vital that ye take Modric out of the game too, if he gets too much possession, ye could be hockeyed!

VdV would worry me more than Modric, with the form he is in but if we have Lucas and Meireles in midfield we should have enough energy to compete. Bale is my biggest worry

Obviously, if he's fit then ya, he's the main man.

Bonus if he doesnt shake off the injury niggles. If he and Bale start we will find it much harder to come away with a win :)

You come across as an Irish manc with them chosen words. But anyway this will be the biggest test for Johnson so far this season and probably ever as a red.

      Ya bud I'm Irish ;)

TBH, I think this is the biggest test of the season for a number of your players. Mainly beacuse, for the most part, the areas in which they posess class players, ye are weakest.

      Bale vs Johnson
      Lennon vs Konchesky

Also, they will have huge muscle in midfield as well if VDV is fit...

Man Mark VdV, Johnson Right Mid, Kelly R Back.  Kuyyt up top with Torres, the rest as per usual. job done 2 - 0 the Reds. Woy will have Torres on his own, and everyone else in our own half trying to contain them. Sitting back letting them run at us at will. 2 - 0 Spurs, Woy on the way out the door.  I'd rather have the win but Woy will set us up soooooo defensive, Gomez will get frosbite standing around all afternoon.

On fantasy league, it says VDV was doubtful.
