Two things....
1. Hope the second leg of the North American tour comes somewhere remotely close to me. I was able to go to a show in South Florida last time around.
2. While I understand the current "climate"...I hope this album isn't Riot Act v2 only about climate change. I get it's a big issue, and I didn't dislike Riot Act...but I just hope the music isn't sidetracked by the message if that makes sense.
I think I understand. Sometimes when PJ tackle global elements in their music it tends to get a lot heavier or even bogged down a bit.
Maybe that's just weariness though. At their best they are angry and there is only so often you can channel anger as a way to drive creativity before it burns you out.
Certainly in some of the later albums there was a hint of world weariness to what they were doing and the breaks and alternative projects seem to have helped that.
I'm looking forward to whatever it brings, even if the European Tour looks like it'll bypass Ireland.
