Yeah what happened to the itk's? No one sore this coming. Same thing could happen with Adam or Suarez. Glad to see the leaks tightening up.

I think we're trying to get rid before we buy tbh. It's going to take time to get rid of our players though but i have no doubt we will. Who's next for the chop?!

So long as it is money towards the transfer budget and not the only budget I'm happy enough. Best of luck Ryan you waste of talent

Why would you assume that when Kenny came out a few day's ago and Comolli also saying the owners do not have a limit. In fact in Comolli's interview he said that when he took the job should he be looking at selling to raise xfer money and he was told that money was not an issue, only thing right now that matters is winning.

I don't think the money from Babel's deal affects Suarez one way or another...we have our valuation/Ajax has theirs and we are negotiating to get something done...not like "Oh wow we can bid an extra 5m now and get this done"
I wasn't saying we are selling to raise funds. I was asking why people were saying it. I know what was said last week by Werner.

I think Ryan is going because he's not a 1st team regular and he sits on the bench earning massive wages which is annoying FSG.

I don't think we are selling to raise money, I honestly think he doesn't feature in kennys plans and we have a fair offer for him, but I don't think we would be letting him go without someone else coming in. Well that's what I praying for!

It makes sense to off load those on high wages, contributing little to the footballing side of the club, while at the same time working to bring in first team quality players.

I'm not so sure. Poulsen looked good in our last game - imagine what Kenny might have been able to do with Babel!?!?

Yeah if Babel couldn't do it with Kenny, no one would get it out of him. Hope he does well! I'll still be buying him on Fifa, his ratings are too impressive.

Sell Babel to raise funds for Adam. If we have to do that then we're in trouble. We need a striker now anyway

but thats the thing, he told the media he was staying put and then babel leaves the same day. He was apointed as a caretaker manager. i just hope they are including him in the decisions making and comoli and henery arent the one who is doing everything. with all the respect i trust kenny's judgement more then thems.

      I agree Billio

If they are doing deals behind his back and make him look silly that's not on. However I imagine that as per his last press confrence - transfers is now something that happens withou being talked about (well only in the media)...

Kenny will say that all the players are liverpool players until they are actually sold, and we are not bidding for anyone until they are signed and have the shirt...

Still, this is SSN and they could have it wrong, its just a source saying that it will be comepelte, i didnt see anything official from LFC

All the best Ryan, nice of you to part with a pop at Howard Webb. Apart from that, not much else to say.

How about we put some kind of timeline on it.

      Liverpool accept the deal.

Ryan says he isn't getting the money he wants and returns to Melwood.

Demba Ba goes on loan to West Ham, freeing up the wage bill for Hoffenheim.

Kenny has a press conference. At that point in time Ryan is staying.

Hoffenheim come back in with a renewed offer for Ryan. The club have already agreed terms the last time.

      Deal done
