I think  selling to buy happens in almost every deal...difference in LFC the past few years was to sell one high value asset so 3 mediocre replacements could be brought in. If you sell and buy (Up) not (Down) I call that smart business.

What's the point of keeping Babel if we go ahead and buy another attacking player similar to him? He becomes an overpaid reserve team player holding up the development of those younger, and with more potential in the cases of Suso and Pacheco.
