I think shambolic is an overreaction. The two early arrivals were on the face of it business as usual. Done pretty quietly and very efficiently. The spanner in the works was the Saudis buying Hendo and Fab. Nobody saw that coming. The response has been not ideal if Jürgen desperately wanted the lad from Southampton then pay the asking price instead of low-balling them 3 times. The Brighton player has decided on the chavs and so not much we could do there but we were willing to go full tonto to get him.
