Babel posts altered Webb photo on twitter - now charged by FA

Haven't been Babel's biggest fan but well F***ing done lad. Show the world what a cheating c**t Webb is.

How the F**k is he getting charged for this?? It's a F***ing picture, this is a disgrace in my opinion. In the post afterwards, 'and he is supposed to be the best ref in the world' there is more controversy in that, even though he never mentioned his name.

Good Babel though, again showing he is committed and wants the club to do well.

What did Ryan do wrong?   Webb WAS wearing a Mancs shirt  (probably a Christmas pressie from  Ferg) 

They got the same referee making the same mistake (awarding a penalty that was never a penalty) at the same stadium against the same team, and yet they're going to look into a twitter post.

The FA are brilliant.

The FA are a joke. That picture has been doing the rounds on lots of football sites for ages.

So they'll investigate a player, who rightly feels his team have been robbed, for posting a picture intimating what lots of fans feel anyway , but  they won't  look into a referee giving another dubious penalty at OT despite the linesman , who was in the better position to view it , not flagging .

Oh forgot , Webb is our 'best' referee and an MBE to boot and Fergies pal , so there's no chance he'll be investigated is there .

The sooner referees , and that includes Webb , who thinks he's untouchable ,are made accountable for refereeing errors the better for all concerned.

But its reflective of his 'best' season for them.

Howard Webb has form on this; Spurs 2008-09 when he gave them a penalty for F**k all and they managed to turn around the game after looking sh*te, Valencia 'penalty' last year there.

Are you seriously expecting the F.A. to investigate a contraversial penalty awarded to the scum by their 'top ref' or berbas diving antics. ? Jeeeeeeesssss, the f.a. are the clowns who contiually award this fixture to Webb so he is able to do just that. Award contraversial penalties to the scum. It's to ensure they win at our cost. Nothing but a gang of old farts, bereft of any morals and as corrupt as any Mafia organisation. Just as Webb himself is. The joke is, most of those running the F.A. have weasled their way in there with little or no, previous knowledge of the game. They're all a load of ex public school boys brought up on rugby and cricket. Believe it or not, those institutions actually ban footballs from their premises. Total slimeballs.

Liverpool forward Ryan Babel has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association for posting a picture of referee Howard Webb on Twitter.

The Holland international sent out a mocked-up picture of the World Cup final referee wearing a Manchester United shirt following his side's 1-0 FA Cup third-round defeat at Old Trafford.

Babel also wrote: "And they call him one of the best referees? That's a joke. SMH (shaking my head)."

The 24-year-old later added: "My apology if they take my posted pic seriously. This is just an emotional reaction after losing an important game.

"Sorry Howard Webb."

The apology has not been enough to prevent a charge from the FA, who said in a statement: "The charge relates to comments and images published by the player on Twitter concerning referee Howard Webb."

Babel has until 4pm on Thursday to respond to the charge.
