Sigh, though there were improvements in the last two games, we are still simply not good enough to keep the ball. We're terrible at the back. Even if we have one of the best keepers in the world, it doesn't mean he's bulletproof.

I'd have the same formation as PGlynn91.

The only worry for me is, it's absoulte abysmal that our players can't even pass to a person with a Liverpool top. Other than that, we're shambolic at the back and sometimes struggle to create chances.

Whoever selected best freaking have some desire and passion this weekend. They best give Kenny a winning start at Anfield.

We have got to win this match,no ifs or buts it is critical for our pride and more importantly our league position. We need players who will fight to the death to show what this club is made of.We have done enough crying this season it is time for laughter and banter to return to Anfield.

We dont have much else. Kuyt usually plays well on derby day though

derby day does not = derby day.

IMO Kuyt +Meireles do not deserve a start. they met get one but do not deserve one.

tbh, after tonight the only players that deserve to play the derby are Pepe, Agger, Lucas + Torres.

Don't get to excited will ya  :f_steam:

We'll win this....where's the Liverpool spirit when you need it, the team need us to get behind them as does Kenny, so stop being so friggin negative will ya

Remember we're at home and form goes out the window on 'Derby' day, so let's put tonight's result behind us and be POSITIVE !!!!!
I have read everything now!! The Liverpool spirit? Where was it when Hodgson was at the helm? Contradiction from your goodself perhaps?

We (the fans) still had that spirit!! No contradiction at all. Between blaming Rafa and being negative, you're off to a good start this morning!

Myself, despite the loss yesterday, im gonna go for a 3-1 win. I've decided that things have gotta get better at some stage and im gonna be positive no matter what :D Figure we are almost sure of a defensive lapse that will let in a goal, but hopefully Kenny will drill in how important this match is and have everyone showing the kinda fight that was seen from Blackpool.

We have got to beat these basta*ds and get some pride back into Anfield,if we ever needed to lift our game and get a good result it is now.

Thats the catch 22. Deserves to be dropped but does usually play well in the derby and would a replacement step up in such a huge game?

Yes. And what a game for the players to stand up and turn things around. Win with passion and heart on Sunday and kickstart the remaining season.

Im sorry but if we lose and are outplayed and outfought on Sunday then 6/7 players need fooking off they dont belong here any longer

what we need is the owner here, a positive buy in the transfer window and a message to the players get stuck in or take a pay cut somewhere else. It's the only thing they understand.

Most important thing here - the fans getting behind the team, and showing John and Tom that Kenny was the correct appointment.

This match can turn a lot around, no motivation needed here, everyone should understand what's at stake, let's sweat red and smack the bitters back down where they belong! If we don't win this then we are in serious relegation battle territory... I just bloody wish we could have skipped the whole Hodgson episode and started off with Kenny.

this is the 'perfect' game for us to get back on track and get some much needed confidence and belief in ourselves,we're not swarming with world class players but as a unit we can match anyone on our day.i hope kenny keeps with kelly as i think he's been great when he's played and a much better option than johnson.

If Webb has been given the game, you've got to seriously question the FA AGAIN.

He's proven time and time again he can't handle high profile games like derbies and finals.

This game is massive, absolutely massive!.

At 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, once the result is complete, we will know just who has the stomach to fight for their place at the biggest Club in the world. A lot of these players are not worthy, if they think otherwise then they'd better F***ing show it!.

                              Reina

       Kelly        Wilson              Agger            Aurelio

       Maxi        Shelvey          Lucas            Ince

                            Pacheco

                                          Torres

Subs: Gulasci, Sotis, Spearing, Suso, Cole, Ngog, Babel.

Out with the old, in with the new. Kuyt, Poulsen, Meireles, Skrtel and Johnson do not deserve deserve to be close to this team at the moment.

Don't get the moaning about Maxi to be honest. One of the very few players that's shown quality this season.

Going for a 8-0 thumping to the Reds.

      I disagree

The faithful can sing and shout all day long but if the 1 men in red arent fully committed to every tackle, control passing, willing to shoot when a chance arrives, then the crowd count for little

The players owe us a performance big time and Im fully expecting to see one

      GET STUCK FOOKING IN REDS
