I'd be very surprised and disappointed if we signed no-one in Jan. In fact I would like to think that the fact we have sold him means that an announcement of a new signing is due.

Not going to lie, I will be glad to see the back of him. He was given loads of chances and didn't take any of them barre a few good strikes in the Champions League.

I backed him to come good time and time again because he showed alot of potential in his first season but looked like he can't be bothered after that. Can't say he was never given chances. I've always stated he may shine if given a run of games but we know why he hasn't been given a run of games.

I think babel may actually be good in the bundesliga, he will have more time on the ball. In the prem league you get closed down hard and fast "thats what she said" .

The Mail is saying he wants to go to Ajax, despite us agreeing a fee with Hoffenheim (understandable).  I would not be upset to see him go there as a make-weight for Suarez

I think he really wanted to excel here unfortunately it has really worked out. No one can doubt his ability. He's a confidence player and once he lost that, he was never really the same.

I hope he fulfil his potential he's done some special things in his time here. Maybe if he was at United they'd treated him a bit better.
