But if we beat Stoke, then I'm pretty sure that 10 points out of 15 (or 2 points a game) would represent pretty impressive, and almost certain top four form?

One thing I do hope from the Stoke game is a much improved Anfield atmosphere.  You have a duty now to help roar on not only the team, but frighten the opposition, and ensure Kenny stays at LFC.

Yeah, it's 7 out of a possible 12 so far which I actually think is a very good first four games for Kenny (a 50% win), especially since the performances have been an improvement to what we've seen the first half of the season.

Indeed! When Hedgehog Hodgy was in charge i still always watched, but i never found myself itching for the next game to come around. First time in my life as a supporter that happened. Not that i loved Liverpool any less, i just didn't enjoy watching our play, and thus was never counting down the days for the next match. Alarm would go off at 4am and id still get up, but not bounding to the TV/laptop as usual.

But since Kenny has been in charge i have raced out to the TV a couple times in giddy anticipation, and couldn't wait to sit down with my laptop and watch the others. Just like old times

2 points a game = 76 points at the end of the year. Easy top four form, and the springboard for title challenges. Thats what i want to see back!

If we can win the vast majority of home games- Stoke is crucial and continue playing like we did at Wolves, there is a strong possibilty we could finish very close and push for 4th.

It is easier said than done. The signing of Suarez would be a huge boost.

I was just saying this to a mate tonight. We have a good chance of moving up the table if we perform against these teams at home.

Agree entirely about Maxi. He's as big a a waste of space as Kuyt is on the other side.

Play Johnson in Kuyt's place with Aurelio at left back, and Joe Cole instead of Maxi on the left. Joe might not be able to run fast but at least he has a football brain

Disagree maxi is quality but admittedly has been hit and miss recently hes got 3 goals this season and i think kennys never even subbed him. He knows how to play liverpool type football and link up plus he defends and almost never loses the ball.

Joe Cole is ineffective on the wings and hasnt done anything to warrant a start since hes got here. In his preferred position hes got raul and stevie ahead of him playing off torres. Personally id rather see dani on the wing rather than cole dont rate him. Id put jovanovic in ahead of cole too. This team cant carry someone who can produce magic but goes missing for the rest of the time. Much preferred Yossi imagine him under kennys system.

Can see Kenny sticking with same team, can't fault anybody in the last game.

Many said that we beat Fulham due to sheer luck, well, I disagree, if we had not pressed them enough inside Fulham's box, it would not have resulted in an own goal. Ok, put it purely to sheer luck, but getting the ball to cross the line is all that counts, no matter how it is done. So, comes next game against Stoke we need to play hard and ugly to match Stoke stride by stride and kick them off the park to give them a taste of their own medicine. I've seen in the last few games how we have started to compete for those 50/50 balls, won some and start to look tougher. What I'd like to see in the next game against Stoke is we put on our battle gear and start to intimidate them as much as possible at Anfied, press them the way they used to press us, if not harder. Pennant on the wing and he's not the fastest, Kenny should fully exploit that area of weakness, and attack down that flank.

I cant see how 3 people dont think we will win do you know Roy has left now.We might even have another signing by then.
It was good result against Fulham and I think Stoke will be an easier game.

I dont think Kenny rates Cole too highly he hasnt figured too much.He hasnt been too impressive so far.

Not bad but with Kelly and Johnson pushing forward we would basically be playing with 2 defenders at times. We do need a player to protect the back 4 imo and Lucas and poulsen are just not good enough for that role.

And yeah, I thought it looked a very attacking team without Lucas or Poulsen in, If you took Kuyt or Maxi out and put Lucas in, he could sit back and cover when we attack.
