Guðlaugur a contract offer from the company that wants to sign him for one and a half years.
"It's not been taken care of business. I met the guardians of Hibernian in Edinburgh yesterday (day before yesterday). Negotiations are ongoing and will hopefully be completed this in the coming days. I'm optimistic on that. I was even very good at what I saw at the club. After a two-year stay at Liverpool I think this could be a good step for me. I need to play and be in good playing shape, as the big tournaments ahead with a 21-year national team this summer, "said Victor Guðlaugur in an interview with Morgunbladid yesterday.

Guðlaugur has been in the camp of Liverpool over the past two years where he has played with the reserves of the company and was a few weeks on loan at second deildarliðinu Dagenham & Redbridge earlier this season.

Have never got watching him but he seems to be highly rated. If he sold, it seems a real shame but thats football.

If I'm right he was a bit like Coady. Could play defense or CDM.

Seen him a few times on the box and liked the look of him. But have to say he really impressed when I seen him in Dalymount against Bohs last August. Really thought we had a potential gem on our hands
