I really do think this lad could still surprise a few people.

He still has so much potential I reckon and at times under Rafa he really did look to be the real deal.

I just hope he has matured as a player and the experience has done him good.

Could be one of the few players to return from loan and actually contribute something to the side.

      Good luck lad.

It doesn"t look like it Robbie, i"d say they"ll hold on a LB.

Personally I think he was a good addition - was a bit miffed when he was loaned out! He scored a cracker against Arsenal - and looked decent going forward.

A year on and I would like to see him have a run out at least - also I am now ignoring any link with Juve for anyone as they appear to be signing the whole of Europe this summer.

I alway's thought he had great potential and now hopefully the year away will have done him the world of good. He could be the answer to our problems? Give the lad a chance under Kenny and see what happen's. Could be a blessing.

You get fat, gain muscle, trim the fat, keep the muscle.  He's got four weeks to condition himself back into shape.  It's not like Joe Cole or Charlie Adam who were overweight during the actual season.  Be interesting to see how Insua does this season, wish him all the best.

Yes mate, Insua is classed as a HG player.  He's also considered a club-trained player for UEFA rules.

I think now that Insua is back we may hold off on buying a left back untill late on in the market. This way the coaching staff will be able to take a good look at Insua to see if they think he can do a job. They,ve got some time to look at him now in pre season as it would be a shame to loose a 22 yr old with potencial. I,m sure Kenny, clarke and Keen could whip him into shape so he could do a job for us.

No need to hold off buying a left-back until we're rechecked and confirmed once and for all that he isn't good enough. He isn't good enough and he is never going to be, ship him out and get someone in who is.

Probably won't be getting anyone until Fabio or Insua are sold. The one who is kept will be back up IMO.

No use keeping aurelio as back up as he is injured most of the time. In fact we will need a back up for Aurelio. I think the club should sell Aurelio, get another proven LB for the starting 11 and use Insua as backup. Insua has shown that he is capable, he looked awful many times because he was thrust into the first team. He needs time to develop IMO.
