I am convinced there are third parties involved here, who've whispered sweet promises in his ear. You don't show that passion, feel that passion, and say those things and just drop it all like a stone in the water.

A lot has happend and a lot has happened we'll never know about. But I'm absolutely sure something is wrong here. Something is very wrong about this whole transfer episode. It stinks, and it ain't all coming from Torres either.

There was a story that surfaced earlier that implicated agents and that it even took Torres by surprise.  I'd love to know what has gone on behind the scenes, but I would think it's a mixture of things.  It just seems out of character for someone we never thought would demand a move in this manner.

I was thinking the same. It was allways about Torres not having skilfulll players around him. This may just raise the team spirit.

I have to admit. I'm absolutely gutted. I know that it won't make a massive difference on the field as he hasn't helped us one bit the past year and a half which has been an immense struggle but it's his attitude which has been absolutely disgusting.

He has taken us for a near 4 year ride and fu**ed us over. He will regret ever doing this.

Heroes in football are rare these days.

Teams have won trophies for the past 3 years without Fernando Torres. Might be quality, but at this club it is always about the team, and if Suarez and Carroll can strike up a partnership, then Torres is going to be quickly forgotten as we go on to another golden era.

Walk On Torres, as now you will be walking alone, I bet you now realise by the bus queue that greeted you how big of a mistake you made going to a souless club with no history whatsoever. All i can say is good luck cause with your present attitude and commitment you are definately going to need it amongst those fickle supporters.
